Still needs some growing in
Lot of poa anna on the greens & the fairways were still a lilttle hard. We did White-Blue & got killed by the triangle but made up ground on Blue. Good course, just needs some growing in. Oh, a great breakfast burrito!
Needs Work / Growing Season
Fairways a little hard & greens need help w/poa anna & fill. All in all, an OK day.
Restaurant in the clubhouse.
The first reason I go here is that the restaurant food is so delicious and especially the hamburger tastes good. And even though it's a pity that the golf course doesn't have a bunker, the course is fun.
Excellent mid week round in record pace
The course was in pretty good condition this early in the spring. I played just after the rain let up in under 3 hours playing by myself. The greens were so so with some sad prong weeds tgat they need to get under control but not terrible. The value was fantastic and like I said anytime you play in under 3 hours is a treat.
Moneys worth
Course really is great just had major issues with bumpy weeds all over some of the greens which made putting absolutely brutal/almost unputtable in some spots, if they can get the greens in good shape as far as those weed sprouts it’d be 4 star, cheap Sunday deal made it worth.
Great for the price
Greens had a decent amount of weeds but the course has a fun layout with water trouble on most holes and being on the lake there is always lots of wind
Needs a lot of work
The greens are hideous even for this time of year and the fairways are in need of some grass.Do waste your time.
Windy but good round
Extremely windy conditions and the Par 3's were particularly hard with water in play on each and long carries into the wind. Greens are in pretty good condition for late winter early spring. Fairways and tees still dormant. Pretty quick pace of play with us finishing in 3.5 hours. Overall, very good day even considering how hard it was due to wind and challenging course layout.
Best Bang for the Buck
This is always a great course for the money. The greens were in above average shape, the tee boxes were a little spotty and firm, but for February it’s not out of the norm.
We played our round in 3.5 hours and had a great time.
For $35, it’s hard to beat!
Nice layout but stuck behind a 5 some.
I booked on GN, went to check in and it offered me buckets for the driving range. A small bucket was $9 but I needed to warm up so I clicked small bucket only to find out the range was closed but they didn’t refund me my $9. Seems they are still getting my money from GN but the round was $11 and the bucket was $9. Grass is all dead on fairways but greens were hard and fast. When grass is green this would be a lot funnier. Also only 7 minutes between tee times is only going to back things up. I’ll probably be back.
