About
The Denver City Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, municipal golf course with a traditional layout. The 72-par course offers over 6,700 yards of golf. It is conveniently located five minutes from downtown Denver, across the street from the Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Natural History. Small, sloping greens and tight fairways lined with trees make the course seem harder than it is. There is also unique bunkering to provide more challenge for experienced golfers. The location provides spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains as well as the city. On the premises, there are several amenities that are characteristic of a private club such as pro shop, restaurant, and even a club repair shop.

Shrink the game
The fact that we started our round before 3:45pm and still did not finish because the group in front of us waited for the ENTIRE hole to clear before taking off is just gross. Complete negligence by the clubhouse staff, called at least 10 times before they even picked up and answered the phone, even went as far as to pick up and hang up phone immediately a few times. After calling for what seemed like an hour they said they were sending a “Marshall” out and all he did was do a loop of the course and not improve pace of play whatsoever. Always hilarious when the slow group blames the folks in front of them yet they were NOWHERE to be found and actually on the next hole. Overall a complete waste of time and money. City park has fallen off and staff just wants to take all your money and barely work. Denver muni golf is in shambles and I’m tired of overpaying for poor service and molasses rounds. Better off setting your money on fire at home. Get a clue city park.

A little dark, cold, rainy, hail, windy...
No matter the weather, the new City Park golf course is a blast to play!
A couple curious hole alignments that can be dangerous with incoming shots if groups line up but other than that, a great improvement on the original layout.
A must play for golfers of all skill levels!

The clubhouse and course are brand new..
This was the first time playing there and it was awesome. Fairways, greens, and rough are all in excellent condition.

Early season golf, walking only, sweet!
The course is in good shape given the challenging winter we had. The check-in was smooth. The range was open. The starter was friendly. The temps were chilly to start, but it warmed up to shed layers at the turn. The redesign is quite nice. The fairways were a bit tight, but it is early. The greens were a bit variable in speed and they're were a decent number of roll changing ball marks, which added some challenge up scoring. A good, enjoyable round made nicer with walking only.

Good views good track shaggy greens.
See title, greens are alive but slow and difficult to putt. Still one of my favorite tracks in the city.

Heart of Denver
Nestled right downtown Denver this course is fun challenging and spacious. Well kept and maintained. Price is great tho it's hard at times to find a tee time it's a great course to experience

Played on Monday. Frost delay. The nice starter let me go earlier to join a 3 some on hole two. Course conditions were good; some GUR areas on a couple holes on the back nine, lots of leaves making it hard to find your ball. The greens were on the slow side. Overall I had a good time playing City Park…

A favorite in the Metro Area
This course plays very well for golfers of all levels as was in my group. Great views, landscape and atmosphere from the clubhouse to the course.
This is surely on my top three in the Denver metro area, and a must play for my visiting guests and family.
