It is what it is
City Park Nine will never be on someones top 3 courses ever but thats OK and they know that there. They really do the best with what they have. Tight fairways, short course. Cruddy layout of #3 but a great place to take beginners, have some beers and have a little fun.
Lots of fun, good people
This course is fun to play with good views and great staff all the way around!! Every body there played at a very nice pace although it was not very crowded...
Great deal
City Park Nine is a great deal for what you pay. It's not as nice as the other two courses in Fort Collins (Collindale and South Ridge), but for what it is it's a great deal and a great place to practice.
Lots of trees, accuracy is a must.
Short and tight, sometimes I think it might be a good idea to leave the driver in the bag and use irons. Very well maintained.
One of my favorites
City Park 9 is one of my favorite courses in Fort Collins. It's always really well maintained. Most of the course is pretty straight, but the size and maturity of the trees make the course much harder from off the fairway. This is the perfect course to play when you don't have all day to play a around of golf. A quick nine in the morning and you have the rest of the day still. I've never seen the course in bad shape and the greens are taken care of nicely. If you're in Fort Collins, I would highly recommend playing this course. I love it.
