Investment arrived

Good to see some much needed investment has occurred.

Need the shop back and the bar to actually be open (bar seems to shut at 1800) occasionally otherwise people just won’t bother coming.

Steer clear

Greens over sanded and unplayable,
Wasn’t greeted by actual staff member.
Green fees should be discounted when greens are that bad looked like they sanded it in the dark

Good course

Good course, I have been here a couple of times and it is definitely more of a summer course as most holes after the 3rd become a swamp

Maintenance required

The course is still recovering from drainage improvements and the bunkers are completely neglected. A generally good layout although spoilt by over head pylons and traffic noise. Club house interiors a little dated.

Attention to detail.

The tee area could do with more regular grass cutting. The ball washers are almost always empty. The bunkers are unplayable. Paying attention to these details would justify the cost of playing there. I have played Abbymore for a few years now and it has been better. The cost has gone up and the quality of the course and dropped. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Terrible customer service

I like the corse but find the staff very rude and they don’t seem to be concerned about customer service, some of the staff members don’t even say good morning or even make eye contact.

Poor standard

Unfortunately it was so noticeable in comparison to the last time I played here, Tees were poor quality, bunkers extremely neglected, greens covered in pitch marks and fluffy. A course of 9 holes that would be suitable for an absolute beginner. I paid £40 in total for a 2 ball feeling this was not value for money.

Service / management

Well what can I say, this used to be such a lovely friendly place but absolutely disgusted and appalled with the attitude and rudeness of the manager, will definitely not be coming back
