A fantastic experience, golf was in immaculate condition especially the greens and run off areas, fairways very well maintained also, course lay out us fantastic and we hit lucky with weather so didn't really see the teeth of it but no doubt if the wind is blowing it would be a completely different challenge
Well worth the money and will definitely be returning..
Winter greens
Winter greens- should of been told before we booked.
Great course
Played in fairly benign conditions which made the course easier to play. Fairways bunkers and greens in great condition. Played as a 4ball using buggies and were not held up. Keep out of the very long grass and the course is very playable. Tricky greens with lots of contours so a good short game helps.
Beautifully presented course
This is a great course with lots of variety in the holes. Greens and tee beds all excellent. Some excellent run offs have been created. A fair challenge.
Unwelcome
The first tee was quiet on arrival and I teed off 10-15 minutes ahead of my time late afternoon. By the time I was leaving the third tee I was met by two members, one who was quite abusive about me going out slightly earlier than my time. As soon as I saw this two-ball I immediately waved them through so in no way impacted on their game. The duo actually left the course after 9-holes,
I gave up after 14-holes due to the ridiculous pace of play. Three hours for 13 holes.
Such a nice course ruined.

Beautiful course , well maintained and very helpful staff. Some work still going on the course but didn't spoil the experience.

Fantastic!
First time playing and would love to play again in the summer! Only 3 winter greens on which was fantastic and the winter tees were in better condition than the summer ones at my home course! Lovely club house as well. Will definitely be back!
A real Northumbrian gem.
Foxton is a fantastic, all year round golf course that is up there with the best Northumberland has to offer. Beautiful setting, great layout, always in fantastic condition and a good test of golf. An absolute must for any keen golfer.

Well worth a visit, course in great condition particularly the greens. Helpful and friendly pro shop.
