Arrowhead Golf Club

We were squashed between 4 groups, with a line of carts behind us. Every tee box besides the first and second, we waited a minimum of 10-15 minutes, and there were a couple holes(timed!) that literally took over 35 minutes to finish. Not cool either, when you have to tee up with not 4 carts, but 8 carts waiting behind you! Talk about a stressful, and un enjoyable round. Part of me wishes I didn’t finish and got a back 9 “rain check.”
UNACCEPTABLE when paying that much for a round. Unacceptable regardless.
One of the few downsides of this course, hence my overall 4 of 5 stars. Marshalls need to be better and pace of play regulation needs to be better.

The course was fantastic, from an aesthetic standpoint, but for $225, there are a multitude of courses in Colorado have a better value for the money. My recommendation to the course would be: keep pace of play (there was no martial all day), and lower your rates if the course is not going to be on par with other price comparable options.

Way overrated horrible greens. Round took 5 hours 12 minutes. Bunkers suck. Massive work being done to course trucks and workers all over the place. Would never have booked this if I had know course such bad shape.

Staff was Great, not snooty like you may find at a course of this caliber, very amiable

Outrageous price! The entire back nine was closed had to play the front nine twice as 18 holes and one of the holes was closed and they still charged almost full price ridiculous!!!

This course is always overpriced for course condition. You are paying for the view. I have played it 3 times in the last 30 years. Once every 10 years.
I played on a deal time because one 9 is closed for bunker renovation. No mention of the punched greens on the Arrowhead websitei,lke putting on Chinese checker board. I always check for maintenance on the course website before booking with GN. We would not have booked had this information been available. Fairways in good condition.

The course is beautiful, when in season. As of early April its in good shape and worth playing. The front nine is closed for bunker makeovers. The Pro shop stated that they contacted GolfNow with that information but nothing has been posted. Dont know if that includes greens maint. Not sure when it and the course will be fully opened. We were offered to play the back nine twice. Staff is friendly and the round was good. No real complaints but not what we expected.

5 stars! Absolutely gorgeous golf course. Played in early December and hit a 68 degree day! Couldn’t ask for better. Staff was friendly. Course conditions were excellent even in December. Layout is beautiful! If anyone is familiar with The Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. This is like they routed a golf course thru it. Bucket list type place. Warm up range is only about 200 but adequate to warm up. Practice green is very nice. Carts had GPS. I chose to walk. It’s got some elevation up and down, but it’s doable just not recommended unless you really enjoy walking! Bucket list! Go play!

The course condition was decent for being late in the fall. My complaint is about the experience we had with 2 randoms that turned out to be 3 people (one is a ride along which was fine). Two golfers with only 1 set of clubs. Dressed in jeans and t-shirts, they took plenty of pictures and videos of the course. It just didn't feel like we were out there for a round of golf with camera and phone video rolling throughout the round.

We flew into Denver specifically to play this course. Nearly a 6 hour round spoiled everything good about the course. When we mentioned to staff, it was yeah that's pretty common. Longest round we have played in over 10 years. SO disappointing.

It is always nice to get out to Arrowhead for a round. The views are spectacular and the course was in good shape except for the bunkers.

Arrowhead is a great course to play if you have the time. The setting back in amidst the rock outcroppings is fantastic and there are amazing views from some of the tee boxes.

There are not many courses where the driving range offers incredible views. Arrowhead is one of them. This is the type of place where people would come to gawk at the scenery if there was never a golf course built here. We are lucky to be able to play our sport in such magnificent surroundings.

When playing Arrowhead, try not to get too caught up in the views. There are plenty of good golf holes that are sure to challenge any golf enthusiast. You will need to be in good spots off the tee to score well, and the greens can be quite tricky.

Don' expect a a quick round out here. They do try to keep the pace moving, but understandably things can get a little slow as most players are enjoying the views just as much as the golf. This is more like a destination course than most in the area.

Arrowhead is a must see for anyone coming from out of town. There is really nothing quite like it anywhere else.

Very overpriced and the pace of play was a disaster

After all the hype about this course online and everything it's not what they say at all. The greens were extremely slow they probably hadn't been mowed in at least 2 days the T boxes were beat up and had no grass growing on them in some spots the bunkers were rock and just dirt. A couple holes had 3 groups on them one on the green one waiting in the fairway and one waiting on the T box. The views were the only thing that was good about the course. Save your money don't play this course it's not worth 129$ at 3 o'clock and definitely not worth 179$ in the morning time. Go play Fossil Trace in Golden Colorado. It's stunning spectacular and pure. Arrowhead is a waist
