For a public course it is very good,greens were bit iffy today but it is December.Overall very good course.
Excellent condition
Played after big storm the night before. Thought it was going to be horrendous but was amazed how good the condition the course was. There were a couple of holes with standing water on the fairways but only in small patches. The greens were brilliant and the fairways generally firm and not soggy at all. Very impressed as a lot of courses would have been waterlogged or at best very wet. Overall this course is a good layout and makes you think about which club to play from your tee shot and to the green. I didn't take a wood out all round and played to handicap. It's about getting the right position on each hole rather than smash and bash albeit using a driver and woods can definitely get you the rewards if the big dog is behaving, mine isn't. That's what is great about this course as hit it straight and you are in the game, smash it off piste and you risk not scoring. Play it and enjoy an interesting course with good off course facilities. Will be back for sure
