High Elms Golf Club

Unfortunately the course was backed up. 4 balls in front who could barely hit a ball and would let two balls play through.

For a public course this is one of the best around locally to me , very good course and very well kept , only 2 small complaints …….. club house should stay open later , missing out on revenue as a nice cold beer would have topped our round , also the walkers could do with more signage as a few walking down middle of fairways holding up play slightly

Great course for the money, only downside is that they close the clubhouse bar at 5.30pm. Don’t understand this as there are so many afternoon golfers. Must be losing out on so much more potential revenue

We arrived at our booked time but no one there to check us in as reception was closed so we just went and teed off

I used to be a member of mytilene who run High Elms and a number of other courses. I cancelled due to the uneven tee boxes and the very slow greens. Upon this visit it's clear to see they haven't addressed these issues.

Really good course for the price and staff were really helpful as well as other golfers. Parking was a little tight but the weather was perfect when i played so i imagine everyone was out. There were a few little patches on the greens but overall i really enjoyed it. Will return!

Played this course a few time and alway enjoy playing here, it a challenge for all golfers. Staff and other golfers are friendly

We weren't told that the whole course had temporary tee boxes and the greens we in a poor condition even for the time of the year. The signage for the clubhouse was non existent so closing time was left you guesswork.

A good course but a little let down by the condition of the greens which were a bit patchy in places. Overall good value for money and would play again.

Fantastic course, some real good tricky holes. Pace of play a little slow but that's because it was busy. And I'm not surprised, great course.

Always enjoy playing High Elms. The course has 18 unique holes, some easy, some pretty challenging. Tees and fairways were in good nick a couple of the greens were a little bumpy, but generally they were pretty good.
I recommend playing here for sure.

Very well maintained course, not badly priced, and pretty out in the open. Not much motorway noise, and quite a tranquil space to enjoy a round. I played in icy conditions, so was a bit muddy in areas, but all in all deffinately one of the dryer courses, with not too badly frozen ground. Staff are very friendly, and professional too. I look forward to returning soon, for a round with more friends!

50 minutes late teeing off due to double bookings. 3 and a half hours later, 12 holes played! Walked off the course in the end. 8 emails to them all ignored.
Tee boxes are wrecked. You're basically hitting off dirt and pretty much none of them are flat.
Go elsewhere. Not a mytime active course.

Where do you start a number of temporary greens and more that should have been. Temporary tees to all holes and not good or clean in anyway. Course is very wet and short in winter so not really a test. Dog walker and ramblers just walk out in front of you. Course is a simple layout without much danger and well greens are flat as they can be.

Loads of better knocks around Maidstone and Kent so wouldn’t waste your time paying to play here
