Good quality and well stocked pro shop. Friendly staff. Course was very wet due to the weather. However, still enjoyed the afternoon.

Great corse, enjoyed the layout of all the different thinking holes. The only downside was not many signs for next hole. And needs more signs on tee box to tell you about the hole.

I have played here a few times in the better weather months and it has been a good course. The condition this time of year I would not recommend it to anyone. I understand it’s been wet but probably could be honest and not open when it really was a dangerous place to walk if you’re not 100% on your feet .
Staff are great such a shame about the course.

I've played here a few times and always enjoyed it. They keep it in good condition, with the greens being notably smooth, although I've yet to play it when they are at their fastest.
There is a fair mixture between holes where you can blast and those where keeping it in play is more important than length.
All of the staff and the members are very friendly.
For all of these reasons, I wouldn't hesitate to take a society here.
It's a very easy walk, although they do have buggies for golfers who are elderly, injured or fat.

Really enjoyed playing this course. Every tee and and green were in play and were in excellent condition. Fairways were also excellent and there were only a couple of very soft patches which is amazing considering all the rain we have had. It's quite an open course so I'd say good for a medium / high handicapper but there are also some challenging and interesting holes. Thoroughly recommend this course.

The course was in very good condition, greens, fairways and tee boxes.
The staff in the Pro Shop were very friendly and helpful. I have Parkinson’s and arthritis in my hands and ankles, so it’s impossible to walk round, so I asked if they gave any concessions to players with disabilities. Without hesitation he gave me a 50% discount on a pre booked buggy. I only wish more clubs would do that!
I used to be a a Junior member at this club many moons ago, so I know my way around the course.
Only downside was three 4 balls in front of me that made play very slow, but with a bit of course management I went 1-7, 14-18, 10-13 and 8-9. By the time I got to the 8th the last 4 ball was playing the 14th!!!
I’d recommend this club as good value for money, but play it soon because I’ve heard the land has been sold for redevelopment!!! Such a waste 😢

Played this course while working away. Fantastic course best one iv played in Surrey.
Already booked again for next week.

Great and interesting layout considering the weather we have endured recently the greens where in excellent condition.first impressions on arrival the car park was a little small but the friendly greeting once in the pro shop was great. Although we where behind a society groups the pace of play was pretty good,thanks for good round and will certainly be back again.

Nice course with interesting holes but the greens were awful. Friendly welcome but would not play the course again because the greens were the worst I’ve played on.and It just ruined the round.

Generally in good shape, greens faster than most and rolled true enough with a decent practice green too. No real complains apart from my inability to tackle some of the trickier holes effectively. You get intermittent noise from the planes at Gatwick, but almost no road noise there

The course offers a variety of simple and technical holes. The course offers a fantastic opportunity for beginners to hone in their skills whilst more advanced players to really go for those low scores, whilst the course, at times, bites back.

The course itself opens with a fantastic drivable tee and a wide fairway offering a huge drive off the first, more than tempting , however, with trenches and penalty areas up the side, course management highly important. For the beginners there are wide open fairways and some simple holes... which made it fun for our whole group which was of a variety of abilities. The greens were immaculate and fairways in great condition. The course is also a host to vast amounts of wildlife so don't be surprised if your tee shot is delayed due to a deer deciding the grass is greener where you are standing.

Overall a fantastic course for all abilities.

First time playing Ifield having played most courses in the area over past ten years or so. Really pleasantly surprised by the quality, variety, challenge and condition of the course, particularly in October. It was busy but still managed bang on four hours to get around. Definitely one I will be returning to.

Another great day at Ifield. I brought a friend who hasn't played there before and he liked the course and was overall very impressed.
We had a great time and loved the scenery with all the wildlife around us. fairways and greens are well kept. I will be back
