Knebworth Golf Club

Chose Knebwoth as it had a driving range (not the best, not many targets and the lay or the land meant that you can’t check your distances between about 120-180 yards, but was more than long enough and there is a chipping area and putting area for practice) which was essential for myself. The guy in the pro shop was very nice and helpful, The course was a dream to play, a beautiful parkland course, would love to be a member there, made par on the first hole, Yes. It’s of good length and good par 3’s. Only bad points were a few areas were under repair and could do with a bit more sand and less stone in the bunkers, (I found more than I care to remember lol) I’m not sure if I lost the 15th & 16th holes, I was getting tired at this point and it was getting dark so I wasn’t too bothered. Definitely on my favourites list and will definitely go back again. Long and short a great course.

Challenging course not too long but played shorter with the soft ground greens were a bit bobly but it is winter so probably left them long for protection. Will be back in the summer and looking forward to playing Knebworth again

Absolutely stunning course. Challenging holes. Kept to a high standard. Great driving range and chipping facilities aswell as a nice putting green. The on course greens are large but extremely well looked after, running very true and smooth. Overall outstanding value at £30 after a certain time. Defo be back. Then for a lovely cold refreshing pint in the club house after which was very clean and set out very nicely. Nice outside seating area also. 5 stars. Well done knebworth.

Very well groomed course, great greens, where you have to be very responsible in how to find on them and then make stalemates! And that makes for an interesting game!

Great course, given the conditions and time of year. Only 2 minor criticisms, the greens were a touch patchy but can only put it down to the time of year and the bar was closed afterwards, however we did finish at 6 on a Sunday so it’s understandable. Great course and looking forward to playing in the summer!

Good condition for this time of year. Hilly, quite challenging with trees but good rough. Greens had been dressed so slow, few patches too. Would come back

Very wet as January and soil very sticky underfoot. Greens were very slow and patchy. Got stuck behind some players on front 9 so very slow. Course is quite nice looking and I’m sure is better in warmer, drier weather

Amazing golf course, one of the best courses I’ve played on and I’ve been about a bit, I was buzzing from first tee to last shot, even if I did miss the 10ft eagle putt on the last!!

Friendly staff great challenging course and well looked after. Will be returning soon..
