Slow pace, good course

Played this course for the first time today, really well maintained considering that it feels more like a “holiday” course but that’s nothing on the level of difficulty, the pace of play is extremely slow!! Took us almost 5hrs to finish a round as a 2 ball because of slow players, some dads teaching their kids that slow the game down and people seeming more relaxed. Staff are friendly, the club has loads to offer and the course is definitely challenging, lots of par 4s. Overall we had a great time despite the slow pace and rain.

This course is challenging enough for all handicaps

Course in good condition at this time of year.with ample challenges.lf there was more ball washes and maybe different colour flags for front, middle and back of green,it would be even better.

I played this course for the first time a couple of months ago, but wow, what an improvement now we are in spring.

Course was in really good condition with fairways and aprons looking very smart and clean cut. Greens rolled well.

Speed of play wasnt great sue to a couple of really slow two balls, but other than that I couldn't recommend highly enough....got it on a hot deal which was a real bargain...

Very impressed.

Lots or retirees in groups of 4 didn't let solo player play through. Jumped in front of them but had to miss a couple of holes to do this.

Nice course in great condition.

Very nice course with wide forgiving fairways.

Very nice course. Fairways are nice and wide which helps the less fortunate skilled players. For the time of year it was considerably dry. It wasn’t busy either probably due to the time of year… I have played this course in summer and it’s a very well kept course and good value for the money. Well worth a visit.

An enjoyable first round

I have been using the range for a few months after a break from the game for 15 years. I decided to play the course and didn't expect too much as it's still winter
The fairways were dry with a good amount of roll, the greens were very good. The greens ran very true and we're a good pace. No bare patches and good grass coverage.

Some areas were " sticky" with mid around tee boxes, and from green to tee. This is to be expected and I had been advised of this before playing.

The course layout is quite forgiving and very much suited to a beginner/intermediate golfer. Wayward drive s are not punished too greatly.

There were a few winter tees but all greens were open, not unusual for courses in February.

19th hole is nice enough with bar staff and pro shop staff very welcoming.

Would recommend.👍👍

Just a Good Course

Would recommend the course I’ve played it probably 5 times now. It’s nothing spectacular but a few holes have a very good layout. The thing that lets it down are the tee boxes and around the greens are always abit bare and muddy. The bunkers are ok but hardly any sand in quite a few of them and seem to have a lot of stones in.
