Walked

A shortish course but if you walk it won't feel like it! There is a lot of terrain, and very few holes on which you'll find a flat lie that isn't a green. That makes it a great challenge compared to most London courses and the upkeep of the course is excellent.

As the name states, quite hilly and lots of challenging holes. Lovely views across London. Staff all very friendly.

Lovely Course

Course is in great condition, very hilly so a good workout to walk around. Despite the torrential rain for the first couple of holes the greens held up remarkably well, like putting on glass for the most part (though my general lack of putting ability may have been more to do with it). Pace of play was absolutely fine but it was a weekday.

Best non-member course within 10 miles of lonfon

Great course, design. Really enjoyed, despite torrential rain the course held up really well and has some unique challenges. Including a 241yd par 3! Can’t wait to go back.

Enjoyable round - welcome a bit awkward

On arriving at the club shop there was uncertainty whether my Golf Now tee booking would be honoured, with the pro shop staff member clearly unhappy that i'd paid £32.50 and not the £42.50 that walk up visitors are obliged to pay. It was sorted with the help of the starter (i assume) who was helpful and gave good advice on some of the local rules . The course itself was challenging with a lot of interesting little holes, where accuracy is rewarded over length off the tee. It's in great condition despite recent heavy rain. We really enjoyed the round and the great views over London and Kent.

Challenging but worthwhile

Judging from others scores (and my own) this course is about 5 shots more difficult than the average. Reasons - narrow fairways, plenty of trees,, frequent hazards including bunkers and out-of bounds, and smallish greens often with sharp slopes off to one side. So it presents a challenge and makes you think. Greens and tee-boxes in excellent order. Some fairways still showing a few signs of last summer's drought but this is clearly being addressed. Recoomended.

Been on the hunt for a great local London course to London Bridge and this has blown everything else Iv found out the water. Great well kept greens and fairways with a fun challenging layout for all types of golfers. HIGHLY recommend if your living in central London and don’t want to travel miles for a top course.
