Good value for money course, especially with the hot deals on offer.

However, buggies have ruined some areas of fairways and the course and I think there should be better management during the winter months.

I've played this course twice this year, once midweek, in the heat of the summer and once this weekend, in the damp, but sunny autumn.

It's quirky, that's for sure. Opening holes feel a bit like a municipal, thenn it has some interesting, and some, overly tight, and overly quirky holes (Severe right angled dog-legs, crazy narrow fairways, greens which are 25 paces long and four wide). So if you like that, and fancy something different, then great.

It's cheap. I paid £16 for a Saturday round. But I also walked off after 9 holes. That 9 holes had taken over two and a half hours, with no sign of it getting faster.

And condition. There was no definable fairway. You had rough and shorter rough. And I know that leaves at this time of year are hard to deal with, but we lost 3 balls having hit good drives, never to see the ball again in the fairway or just off. Greens were OK, for the price.

Very leaf covered course at this time of year, greens were a bit fluffy too.

Feels like a long minicipal course but staff are great, super flexible and club house although simple, has what you need.

Course just needs a bit more love and attention maintenance wise, but overall an OK course.

The fairways were not well kept, was like hitting of concrete and all the grass was dead. Middle of summer and the course was covered in deep, dead leaves. Could loose your ball in the centre of the fairway

Tight course where fairways cross now and then. Really enjoyed it. Great shower facilities

The fairways were very dry due to the hot weather. The green’s were excellent.

I am relatively new to the game and have only played a few courses. I really like this course, it has a nice layout, excellent challenges and is in good working order.

Had a great game on Saturday. Staff very friendly and courteous.
I would strongly recommend playing here.

Overall it’s an okay course for price.
Layout is little all over the place when signage poor for tee boxes and greens
Chipping area located in the middle of fair ways which can cause confusion as they stick flags in

Played the course over the years and my main course, hadn’t played for a while due to health.
Well kept as always bunkers looking nice and most greens, some greens under repair and treatment but all fine, amen corner I missed as I wouldn’t make round ( bad feet) went to the seventh.
Overall brilliant great service from regular clubhouse lady ready for a chat halfway.
Very recommended to try .

Had a lovely afternoon playing golf. Started at 2 pm for a 4 ball.
Nice hole . Course is looking good.
The club house was closed when we finished playing. So unable to comment on drinks or food available. Finishing after 4 hours.

A shower would have been good after a hot afternoon. Play.
Looking forward to returning soon.
