Always a friendly welcome and a really enjoy our return visits to Wharton Park.
The course conditions are starting to improve after the winter and would anticipate the greens will vastly improve following the recent hollow tining process.
Disapointed
I was a full club member here for a number of years 1990 - 2004but moved abroad for work.
Having returned to the UK now i was eager to play the once better golf course in the midlands.
The first impression is of a weary club house empty of people, no golf shop to be seen but the terrace bar was open.
Having booked on line we went to the starters box to register we then went to the driving range and again disappointed with there facilities, no auto ball loader and litter and drink bottles on the floor.
Started to play the course only to find temporary greens and some holes completely closed, had we been informed before booking or when we went to the starters box, we would have gone else where.
Wont be returning anytime soon.
Review of Wharton Park
Great course! Tough conditions but really looking forward to coming back here in the summer
Great course
Only second time playing here, came in the summer and it was outstanding this time weather not great just getting in to winter and still the course was pretty amazing- played others recently and they did not even compare to WP
Course is a good test. Clubhouse not so good.
Was a member here and not played it for a couple of years. Yes the course is nice, good views and greens, not so good in winter as the ground doesn't seem to drain that well, advise play summer. Clubhouse bar is over priced, 2 pints nearly £12 that's nearly £4 more than other courses in the area and the beer was poor. Don't know if it has a pro shop any longer bit it wasn't that great before. Basically to sum up reasonable course, poor off course - that's why I didn't renew my membership. Best course in area Bewdley Pines - Wharton could learn alot from them.

Always an enjoyable day at Wharton Park. The course is a good test of golf for all and set in a great location.
The course is in very good condition and you always receive a polite and friendly welcome from everyone associated with the club.
A well maintained and very attractive course
Despite the fact there are many long walks between holes, the pathways are excellent. The nature of the undulating land means that you don't often get a level stance for fairway shots.
A very attractive course with graet views on many holes.
Not worth green fee
All in all was a nice course however every green at been punched and filled with sand meaning the putting experience was awful.
3 foot putts bobbling away from the hole at the last moment; ball covered in sand etc.
On its day £35 is fair however should have been a reduced rate or free buggy due to conditions.
Paid £51.50 with a buggy!

A great course in excellent condition. Always a friendly welcome from all golf and clubhouse personnel.
It really is a really an enjoyable place to both socialise and play golf.
Summer Knock
Played with the lads from work so a mix of high and low handicaps. The course was a good test and a fair test for both.
Need a buggy if you aren’t the fittest.
Thought it was great value.

Guy in the reception really friendly and helpful when I said I hadn’t played here before, exactly the first impression you want!
Course was in amazing condition with the greens running nicely.
Numerous holes with great views, a truly enjoyable experience

Wharton Park is always an enjoyable experience and bearing in mind the wet weather experienced through the winter the course is starting to improve quickly.
The staff are very friendly and always obliging.
