Glen Eagle Golf Course

The course use to be very nice. Now it’s turning into the second local goat pasture. Weeds are terrible, leaking irrigation, storm debris from months ago just piled up everywhere. Seen they put new sand in the bunkers but there are many more places that need attention. Greens, tees, fairways/approaches then bunkers and rough. Sad to see the course in the shape it’s in.

Once again, Glen Eagle got the best of me. Fast greens and not one flat. Trees on several holes like to be in the way of your shot….so bring your fades and draws!! It’s a love hate relationship with this course. I wish there were yard markers on the course.

G.E. is in real good shape. Greens had been topped dressed but its that time of year.

This is a fantastic course where the only thing that outshines the course is the service. Every employee is wonderful and friendly. This course is on my rota of Memphis courses. The greens have been aerated but are coming back. Once they comeback the conditioning will be 5 stars.

Course is in great condition. Fairways, tees and greens.

It’s a little bit of a drive north of Memphis, but man is it worth it. Well taken care of course with some challenging but fun greens at a very good price. The clubhouse serves some mouthwatering burgers with a smile. Overall had a wonderful experience and I will probably back next week.

Great test of golf. No straight putts which means high scoring. The greens are fast and rolls true. Never played in the US Open, but if I did, I’d imagine they would be like these. The greens have a lot of character. You better stay below the hole. Played with a couple members which really helped. Had my 1st HIO also. Great place to play.

Good golf course but horrible staff. We play there often and the staff is routinely rude and unprofessional. For what it is worth, they have lost my business.

I've been trying and trying to get a tee time out here and I can see why it's been difficult. The course is in great shape and I definitely would recommend it. The pace of play was decent at best, which would be my only gripe. My partner and I flew threw the front 9 only to catch up with these groups of walking, slow playing threesomes which had no thoughts of letting us play through. With that said the course has a nice layout with generous enough fairways. The thing about this course are the greens....most are really fast so if you loose your mind and put it too hard you'll easily roll it by 6 feet or more. Looking forward to coming our here again and would definitely recommend.

Played on a Sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend end so attribute slow pace to that. Maybe 4hr 20 min The greens were very nice , looking forward to playing it again. The fairways and rough were a little long but in alot of places the Bermuda hasn't really come in good.

It was very difficult to find yardage indicators on the course making club selection a guess.

Impressed. Great condition, lots of players but never felt crowded on the course. I’m average at best, felt challenged with lots of uneven lies and those greens. Great option in this price range.
