Great Value
Played 18 w cart under $20. Course is great flat course with tree lined fairways. Good for people want to play tee to green with no real trouble in between just a lot of trees if you miss fairway. Greens were aerated recently so putting was a little off but looked like filling in nice. Staff is very friendly and other golfers on the course were also very cordial.
A couple days from aeration.
Because of the aeration, greens are not great. But the cost and course, I can't complain this course and very close to my home.
Great Deal
Good 9 holes to practice your golf game, fairway was a little long Still a good bargain for you money.
Good Couse, could be maintained better.
This is an older course with lots of mature trees with large roots above ground between fairways .
This course needs attention.
The fairways have numerous dead spots. The greens also have dirt spots all over. The bunkers are like hitting off a cart path.
However, it is a good course for practice.
practice only makes more fun
practice rounds counts! it is better than just going to the range. greens are easy reads, but are not in best conditions. fairways are hard and bumpy so you need to be a little creative. if you master this course you should fair really well elsewhere. I really like the people who frequent there and the staff is super friendly. I try to keep the money local so as there is always a friendly place to play.
Definitely in the desert
Surrounded by desert, off by itself in Palmdale, this is a fun nine hole course. Desert wash areas weaving through the course remind you where you are playing in case the abundance of deciduous trees everywhere on the course providing plenty of cooling shade make you forget. The occasional Joshua tree on the course are a nice feature.
Try and catch a round on sale for an unreal value. Lots of friendly veterans around if you prefer company.
This course has character
It was a very nice day! The greens are decent, but the fairways are a little rough.Overall, a great value and a great day of golf!
Excellent course to hone your game
I consider Desert Aire a practice course. It's not real long, and there isn't much trouble aside from some trees lining a couple of fairways. But it's still long enough that the average golfer will still use just about every club in your bag. Best thing about it is, it's rarely crowded. On this day, I played 9 holes with a cart for $5. Hard to beat a deal like that. Not in the best condition, but good enough considering the price.
Lets
It's all in nine hole course but for the price can't beat it
Great value for the green fees and the staff is super friendly.
Great value for the green fees and the staff is super friendly.
Nice public practice course.
This a great place to come and work on your game. The price is reasonable. Depending on when you play, pace of course can be 1 1/2 to 3 hours for 9 holes. Greens are in need of attention. The extreme winter temperatures did not help the greens and fairways. Hoping spring resurrects the course.
Great practice course for the price
The course was not in the best shape, difficult to differentiate between the fairways and rough areas. The course was easy overall, very forgiving, wide open fairways/lanes with no challenging obstacles. For the price, great course to practice and learn new techniques for a new/young golfer.
Flat layout and would play extremely easy if not for the giant trees on most holes.
I play this course every so often when I can't find anywhere else to play. It's a fun place to play for the money, but could use some renovation. The fairways are a bit hard, the greens are in fair shape, and some of the tee boxes have tree roots bulging them up. It is the cold season here so dormant grass and hard frozen ground are common in the area. One of the best qualities is that it can be fun for all skill levels and is a good course to play if you are just starting out as it does not play that long.
Fun and challenging! Very friendly and welcoming staff!
We had a great time! This course is fun and challenging! The trees lining every fairway are beautiful in the summer and the shade is really nice too! The greens are always nice and smooth! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I would recommend this course to any level of golfer! Best deal in town!
Great value and awesome greens!
The course is in great shape, especially the greens! It is very well maintained, especially for winter time. The staff is the friendliest staff in town! Good challenge...lots of mature trees so you need to hit it straight! Awesome prices for what you are getting!
Great prices
The men's club is rude. They don't want you on their course.
greens are nice...But thats it.
If you like to play golf in the desert this is the place for you.
