Disjointed Layout
The course layout was the worst I have ever played. The course winded through 4-5 different subdivisions making the course impossible to walk. The condition of the course was very good. The views on the course of residential neighborhoods were very good due to the hilly terrain. Too many hilly lies, blind approach shots and difficult walking conditions for my liking. All the staff were very friendly and they have a great new club house with a million dollar view.
Nice course
Pro shop is little shady but all others are great. I was told that it was under new management and was still under improvement. As is currently, course is in good condition and challenging course. Greens were rolling true but hard ground. As of day I've played, it was rolling 7 out of 10 in my personal opinion.
Great course
Great course, Price was a little steep, and it would have been helpful if there was a course map somewhere.
Not bad
Interesting course which reminds me of VA southeast. It was a slow pace along with the greens. Overall condition not bad for price
Must play
Played this course many years ago. Excellent shape. Fairways are still growing from reseeding last year, but no issues. Greens were smooth and quick. Extremely hilly and layout is so different than other courses in the Orlando area. Well worth the $60. Views are pristine. Highly recommend!
Great layout with improved conditions.
First time back to the new and improved course and it is much better than the old poorly maintained course. Challenging layout pretty much the same but conditions so much better. I’ll be back.
What i remembered
What a change from the old course and owners
Me just being picky, tee boxes need to flattened haven't had much rain in the area so the fairways are little hard, greens were weird hard as a rock to pitch on but putts were slow
and who ever put the pins out is a psycho made it very fun
When we get some rain this course is going to be fantastic
Definitely we will be back
A Must Play Course
I have played this course when it was Diamond Players Club, Sanctuary Ridge and now Clermont National. The recent renovations were needed and the greens (firm now because the grass was replaced) are fast and the ball runs true. Fairways and rough are green and grass under the ball. Layout and elevation changes are unique and shot selection is key. All employees were courteous and helpful. My nephew and his friend were visiting and said it was the best course they ever played. The cart lady (Chris) was around 5 times and cheerful and provided great service
Bad luck.
We gave up on hole 15 after 4 hours &15 minutes. When riding back we saw the culprits….. Foursome on 18 and the one guy was using his range finder from about 40 yards out. #goodtimes. Guess we picked a bad day. Everything else here is top notch from hitting bays to beverage cart.
Very nice course
Course layout is very challenging. Some blind shots to the pin made hard to determine which club to use. We had no one pushing us no one waiting to tee off. We enjoyed our round and would play there again next when we return.
wish it was less costly to play - I love it !!!
I knew when I heard it was reopening ; the price had to go up. Without doubt my favorite layout of any course I have ever played. & I have played over 350 different courses. Since I am a duffer with 18 handicap , I personally was just as happy with the old Sanctuary Ridge for $30... YET I am 1 million % happy it has reopened even if I can only afford to play it once a winter. It's not a good course - it's not a great course. IT IS THE VERY BEST COURSE
Piece of plate was not very good. No martial in the course. No beverage cart. It would’ve been nice to have a drink. Other than that it was great. Will return.
Basically was terrible, but enjoyed the course beverage card on the car which would’ve been nice
Meh
I thought there'd be a few hills in here. Pretty much over your hole as hills. Some really unique ones too. And the greens were in fairly good shape. But the rest of the course even the fairways was like your average blow average neighborhood course. I was expecting at least better fairways. I don't know why for the same money everybody else around here can't do with Orange county national does. The place is immaculate. Everywhere.
