Orchard Golf & Country Club

I played here on 10/1/2024 as part of the GSGA Member Play Day series. It was a Tuesday when the course is normally closed so no grill nor cart girl that's why the Amenities only got 3 stars.. But the head pro drove around and took our orders for drinks and delivered them to us on the course. The course is in fantastic condition. Most fairways are very wide for tee shots. A lot of the greens are small and hard to hit. They were also rolling pretty slow that day due to Hurricane Helene dumping LOTS of water on the course. Several holes required more precise tee shots due to creeks or trees blocking a second shot. There is also a LOT of OB on this course making again for more precise shots. Despite this being my first round at this course, I played exceptionally well shooting my third best score ever at an 84! I had only one triple bogey. The rest were pars or bogeys. Pretty awesome for an 18 handicapper!!

Loved this course. I usually play Apple Mtn when I'm in this area but this time I decided to try The Orchard and I'm glad I did. The course was in excellent shape including the greens. It is very open on most of the holes with nice fairways and rough that you could play out of. Nice layout with some fantastic views. My only negative was that my cart almost didn't make it around the hilly course and I ended up having to get a little push from a fellow golfer. All in all a great golfing experience.

One of the better courses our foursome has played. Comparable to Achasta, Crystal Falls, Brasstown Valley, The Georgia Club. Tee boxes, fairways & greens all in great shape. Really no complaints. Nice lies in fairways. Nice deal using a coupon book we had

Is one of the best golf courses in the area..the greens are awesome..

The greens were in great shape but extremely long grass and putting very slow. Fairways were very nice and beautiful views. Both carts in our foursome had battery problems.....One didn't make it all the way around and the other got in with some pushing from behind.

The orchard is first class in every aspect. Friendly pro shop, excellent greens and overall course maintenance, and a spectacular layout. I really can't say enough how immaculate the course conditions were. It was definitely worth the drive from Atlanta.

had a great day if golf, course has some hard tight holes. Condition were good. the golf cart lost power on the last two hole had to use one cart to push the other cart up hills. Finished OK.

This course was designed in a apple Orchard and is in great condition. The greens rolled true and were in fantastic condition. The fairways with the exception of hole #3 are in good shape and there were no bare spots anywhere. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants a good day of golf on a very good course.

Overall, the course itself was fun and in great shape. Challenges presented themselves on all holes and provide excitement for all levels. The down side, some of the members were very rude. A member yelled at me for being too close to his backyard, although I was inside the white stakes. Also, I had a member come out of nowhere and jump in front of me on the 9th hole. He just pulled out in the fairway dropped 2 or 3 balls and started hitting. Next, after I had hit the tee shot on #10, the same member hit into me on the green, when I was starting to putt. He just came up to the green and said excuse do you mind if I play through? He putted out and went to next tee. I was shocked. I finished up the final holes without anyone else playing into me, but I couldn't believe what had happened. It's worth the trip, but just watch out for the members.

Great potential and beautiful nature. Spend some small money on mulch and landscaping.

The combination of a great price for a very good course on a beautiful day, led to a very pleasant golfing experience for my son and me, and our 2 friends. It is a beautiful course with very scenic views.

We played Innsbruck the day before (not good condition) - Orchard bag attendants placed bags on the carts - the pro let us go 20 min early--practice range & putting green were great - didn't need to move ball because fairways were lush and pretty wide - greens were immaculate and large - drive through woods from green to tee was great - we stopped at the grill for burgers after round - restaurant staff was very friendly and quick - food cost was inexpensive and the food was great. All in all it was wonderful day.

We were constantly approached by the Marshall and asked 3 times to let the members play thru. Don't see a return visit in my future.

This is a good solid golf course. Many different and interesting holes with elevations changes and undulating greens. It is a ways from Atlanta, but worth playing.

Winter water damage around a few fairways and it was still wet in some fairways. Need some good dray and hot sun

I love this course. Very nice greens and facilities.

Like the layout of this course. The front 9 is not as elevated as the back 9. Makes for good variety of golfing holes to play. Back 9 is more challenging too.
Green were nice for this time of year. Will go play this summer for sure.
