Great local course
Elliot’s difficultly is middle of the road, but the course is usually well kept, and the staff has always been super friendly. The fees are reasonable.
Good shape considering
In pretty good shape considering all the rain it's been taking...
Greens were pretty good also ..
Elliott, dont play here
Lots of roped off wet areas, sand traps are more like pea gravel and the rough is so tall and thin if you hit into you cant find your ball.

Course was a wreck.
Lots of rain previous to my round. The fairways were soaked and full of debris. The course should've been closed. Staff frustrated that I used GolfNow to book my round. Rockford Park District is hurting for customers but doesn't believe in customer service. One can play nicer courses for cheaper and be treated better by just driving a few minutes in any direction. Perhaps when they start closing courses they'll wish they made better decisions and treated their customers with some respect.

Course has nice layout
Good bang for your buck. Has some challenging holes, but fun course no matter your handicap. Rough was long due to the rain the last few weeks. I would recommend this course to all golfers.

Love Elliot gc. Keep this one. Sell Aldeen.. 50$ to play any course in Rockford on a weekend or any time is asinine..

To bad it will be gone soon
Nice course for average player and it's to bad Rockford is going to shut this course down soon. Maybe they should stop putting all the money into Aldeen since we didn't need a 200k bathroom between hole 15 and 16!!
Rocks in sandtraps
Still rocks in traps. Greens were very nice albeit a little slow
Elicit golf course
I feel the golf course is a very nice layout gives you opportunities to hit all your clubs and seems to be run very nice and the reads are in very good shape and a good value for the money

Slow five hour round three groups waiting on some tee boxes.
Lacking
Course is terrible shape with rough so high you can't find a ball that is a foot of the fairway! Greens are all nicked up and even have cuts in them from them cutting it to low leaving huge tears in them. I know Elloit is not a upscale course in town but it;s really lacking compared to Ingersol or Sandy Hollow,
