Anniversary member at Harrison
Since Harrison implemented their anniversary membership program under new management in 2020, the course was extremely crowded. Conditions of the course have declined slightly because of the tremendous increase in traffic. Still a nice course, but not as pristine as it once was, which is understandable due to increase in golf play.
What a Gem !!
I have played this course maybe 7 or 8 times. It gets better with each time I play. Always enjoyable and difficult. The 6200 yard tees have a slope rating of 130. I think the first times I played the course I was oblivious to the difficulty. I didn't score well and blamed it on a bad round. During the Virus protocol I have played it three times and find it is really a difficult golf course. I like to walk and it is a real challenge to walk with a push cart. The BBQ restaurant is even better than ever. Wow What a place.
One of the 10 best in Indiana
I have played many of what are considered to be Indiana's best courses. Harrison Hills ranks right there with the bulk of them. At the senior rate of $29, HH is especially appealing. Course conditions, especially now that the superintendent has decided to cut back on the native fescue, are great. The greens and tees are pristine and the course is very challenging with a variety of tee locations. The only downsides are a limited pro shop and the occasional problem with members cutting in on rounds and starting on #10.
Nice old course....
The original 9 here is almost a 100 years old, and it is iconic, and ranked in the Top 10 of public courses in Indiana annually.
Absolutely Awesome!!
If you're a fan of Langford & Moreau designs you absolutely must visit this out of the way track. It's outstanding. I don't allow 5 stars lightly. Go to golfatlas.com and read up on this place. 7 of the very best original 20's design holes the L&M team have ever built. As good as their masterpiece Lawsonia's holes. The rest of the course designed by Liddy is wonderful and meshes fairly well with what Bill & Ted originally did. The back nine I'd absolutely play every day. #1 and #2 both L&M's are a hoot. Get a par on the famous volcano green par 4 15th and you'll be smiling for weeks. 1924 historic restored old school Tudor Clubhouse with locker room/shower. Excellent value. $29 senior rate Tues/Friday. A steal. Make the trek to sleepy Attica this track and facilities will not disappoint.
Great layout, great condition
Challenging course with a great layout. Bentgrass fairways were in wonderful shape, and the greens have interesting contours and are in great shape, too. Very good course which I will definitely want to play again.
A true Gem!!
Played on a cold and windy Spring day but the course was a excellent shape--as always!! We pretty much had the course to ourselves. The pro shop employees could not have been nicer. The entire course played extremely hard and firm- including the large greens, which took a while to get accustomed to (we are used to the ball sticking on the greens @ HH).
All in all a great day on links... and well worth the 1+ drive. Can't wait to play again!!
Great course... Harrison Hills is always in excellent condition. Mike the Pro went out of his way to help us with any problems.
La Vida
Had a good time playing at Harrison Hills country club for Waze would you please get a great course is challenging you got to stay in the fairways are you will be in Trouble will have to go back and see if I can do better
One of the best in the state
It's a drive to get there. But well worth the drive. If you want to play in less than 4 hours this is by far the only place to play. Great layout and not the same old holes. The course is always in great shape, can't beat the price for the course your playing. Love this course! Never busy!
Excellent!!
Best course within 70 miles of Terre Haute!! Well worth the drive and the price-- I would def recommend. Numerous tees for different handicaps/skill level.
Greens are perfect. You can tell they take great pride in their facility. I will be back again soon....
Small town jewel
Lucky enough to play weekend after high school sectionals were held.
Course in great shape!!
Not crowded at all...area high school graduations probably the reason.
Staff very nice/friendly/helpful
Only downside: concession stand closed Sunday. Had ham or turkey on bun, candy, cold soda in pro shop for purchase.
No alcohol sold-ever-at this course.
Staff member only said 'we don't check coolers'. Take that however you choose.
Great value, back nine very pretty!!
Will definitely go back.
Awesome course
Have played this course many times. The course is awesome and would recommend it to everyone. The staff is great!!!
Great Challenge
Must hit fairways or the ruff will eat up your club. Greens were in good condition. Staff told me the greens were just fertilized and could have some growth but they were still somewhat fast. The coarse was in the best shape I have ever witnessed. Great challenge, I do recommend to all golfers.
awesome staff
the staff at this course was awesome. that means the most, for me anyways.
Fun course and friendly staff
Had a good time - course in very good condition for the last week in October. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will be back.
Challenge is present on every hole
This is the fourth time I have played Harrison Hills. I have never been disappointed in the layout, the condition, or the staff at this unique blend of old architecture and modern golf holes. I play many different courses, but will be returning to Attica more frequently now that I live closer to the course. I really enjoy the variety of green sizes and their undulations. You need your best game to break 80 at Harrison Hills.
