Great Simple Course!
Great place to play, Great price and easy access. The course was in pretty good condition. Usually play here 4-5 times a year and it's definitely recommended!
Very Nice Course
Very nice course for early in year. Excellent greens with a solid layout. Only played front nine but will return to play a full round soon.
Nice day in Seymour
really nice greens; roll true but faster than I usually play.
Pace of play
Way too many people stating on 1. Needs to managed better. There was a foursome, one person then a foursome then a twosome. All starting on 1. Nobody wants a 6 hour 18. It’s a great course and highly recommended but tee times and maybe a starter would be recommended. Great course though.
Winter golf
We played Shadowood as a foursome in late December. Remarkably it was 90° on the front nine, but on the cart paths on the back. It was wet in places. The greens were in great shape. The fairways were somewhat dormant, but the course considering the time of year was great. We played fairly quickly.
Greens too extreme
The greens were too fast for the size of the greens. The course has small sloped greens on most holes. The green speed was too fast for them. You couldn’t hit the green and chipping close to the holes was near impossible. It also made putting difficult and frustrating. The green setup really detracts from a nice course with a good layout. Its too bad whoever runs the place thinks average golfers can have fun playing a course with green speeds and rough at professional level.
Good overall
It was early tee time so pace of play was great. Course was nice and green due to the recent rain, however it would be nice to have at least a first cut of rough. It’s either fairway or 4 inches of plush green grass that’s tough to hit out of. Most people aren’t in the fairway 100% of the time. So that’s one thing I would change. Other than that it was a good day and worth the money.

It's was rainy one guy could not make it but still got charged 44 dollars for him not making it. Everything else was as expected due to weather
A very nice course at a great price.
Small fast greens that slope off the edges. Not too long and a good course for all skill levels.
