Played as a guest of a member. Arrived early. Drove my cart to the driving range before my member partner arrived. Starting hitting balls, when the pro arrived and very sternly let me know carts were not allowed at the range and escorted me off the range. The player next to me called him. Guess its what you would expect from an elitist country club.

The Longmeadow Country Club mixes a sense of historic dignity with a casual comfort that nurtures a sense of familiarity. Designed by Donald Ross, but you would likely know this even if not informed, as his fingerprints are everywhere; in the shaping of holes, the use of land and most prominently, in the green complexes. Careful and responsible modifications have kept the course more than a current challenge. Bobby Jones used to frequent Longmeadow Country Club back in the days when he lent his talents and celebrity to the original Spalding Company down the road. The delightful course, along with the comfortable amenities and the gentle spirit of the overall experience could easily equate to the quintessential private country club in the country.
He's right! Don't go there. Horrible people who act like they're wealthy.
