The Dogtrack of the N Shore
Likely the worst course on the N Shore. Staff is horrible. Grump old man (owner) sits inside and complains about golfers all day. Miserable guy also owns the car auction on 4th hole.
This course hates golfers.
They don’t let you check in more than 15 minutes before your tee time?
For a 9 hole that looks like this you’d think they’d cater to you !!!
Ew meadows
Course in greay shape yes its 9 holes
Greens are better than some Country Clubs
In North Shore
Fairways cut real nice. Staff friendly
If you are any level golfer you will enjoy this course
There If You Need It
New Meadows is an old time, 9 holer that is there to play if you need it. It is always in fair shape and after a rainy day, it will be wet for a few days. It has a loyal membership of seniors and women that match up perfectly to it. In the middle of the day when they have gone home and before the twi leagues hit, it tends to be quiet. I play there with my friend Dennis, who seems to really like it, and it suits us fine as a nearby option to walk a quick 9 on. There are no great golf holes and no memorable sights. Dennis like the par 4, 4th hole, which has Route 1 on it's left. There is a 50 foot net that keeps dozens of balls per day from flying onto the busy road. The 7th is an interesting par 5, where you go up and over a large mound and hopefully avoid the large pond on the left. The geese love this hole and it will usually be covered in their droppings. The clubhouse is stark and very basic. The staff is very senior, but sweet in a grandmotherly kind of way. New Meadows has been around for a long time being exactly what it is - basic 9 hole golf. The new condo development going in on the 1st and 2nd holes have made them a few bucks. I myself would not choose to live right on these fairways, but Dennis might.
