Hidden Gem in Michigan
What an absolute gem of a course! Let me start by saying i have played numerous golf courses in Michigan and nothing is quite like Egypt Valley Country Club. The Valley course at Egypt Valley Country Club combines picturesque views with a fair, but challenging course. Ask any golfer who has played Egypt Valley Country Club and they would note that its a hidden Gem in michigan, and it matches up against any golf course in the state.

WOW! This course delivers! One of the best golf experiences i have had in a while.
I decided to walk this course and that was the only mistake of the day. The course starts off with 2 holes that are somewhat gimmicy, but dont let that discourage you. This course is the real deal! Many golf holes are carved out of woods with undulation around the greens that makes it a challenge for the novice golfer. Holes 12-14 just made my day! Wow! Pretty golf holes with even better views.
Post round there is a patio overlooking hole 9 and 18 from the Valley course, a great place to enjoy an after round beverage. I will be playing here again!!
Don't pass up a chance to play here
This is a 36 hole hidden jewel in rural village of Ada MI. Basically you are 10 miles from downtown Grand Rapids.
This is a complex containing 36 challenging holes of golf. There is no weak or bad nine.
The tee shots seduce you. They give the appearance that you can spray the ball all over the course. Do not be fooled. If you put the ball in the wrong place your second shot will be very difficult. Not a lot of water hazards. Be prepared to bring your mid iron second shot "A" game. The greens will repel poor shots and give you difficult pitch/chip shots to the pins.
The staff are extremely friendly. You are permitted to use credit card or charge back to your home club. You can walk if you wish. Golf course is not cluttered with perimeter homes. The green fees are extremely reasonable for what you receive. You can even elect to rent a golf surf board on wheels. Not my preference.
Course is in excellent shape with fast greens. A lot of people walk this course. It is not for the fair hearted, plenty of hills. Pace of play doesnt exceed 4:10 min
Everyone is very friendly. Excellent practice facilities as well. Wish I could have played all 36...
