Bunker sweeper an idiot
Nice course..first time I shot it. Had a good time until the turn...the idiot sweeping the bunkers just took his sweet time. No attempt to let me play through...no remorse, and followed me nearly the whole back 9. I had to wait for him to completely sweep all the bunkers on at least 4 of the last 7 holes I shot.
I ran out of time and couldn't shoot 17 or 18...waiting for this guy.
Needs work
Could be a fun, beautiful course. Needs a lot of updates. Bunkers protecting most greens makes for difficult play for weekend players. Trees need to be trimmed back.
Disappointed
This is the second time we played this course, first time was last summer when the course went public. last summer the course was in excellent condition, even though this was fall golf, we expected a ton of leaves and we weren't disappointed. The rest of the course I feel is in very poor condition, the greens are fairly fast but grass is very sparse, all the tees are very beat up and sparse, fairways were excellent. For the price of 25.00 it was a good day, but, this course charges over 60.00 normally and if I would have paid that I would have asked for my money back. Last season the course didn't have a restaurant or bar...and supposedly has one this year that wasn't open. for a fairly good round for fall it was good...if i thought about paying the regular price I'd require a tour of the course first.
Challenge
We had a great time. Tha course was in good shape. Pace of play was very good. The greens were not perfect, but decent for mid October in Michigan. We would definitely play it again. The Hot Deal made it a bargain.
Everything but the green.
It's a great course! Nice layout. Just the right amount of challenge and forgiveness. Every one who works there is very nice. The course is s very well groomed, except the greens are a little beat up. Cut very short, trying to make them faster. But it seemed to have caused dead patches. But other than that, is ts a great course!
Course is in awful condition. Greens look diseased. It seems obvious that the ownership has given up on maintaining the golf course.
Ugh…it’s Just not worth it
Tried it one more time, it’s clear, there is really no motivation to improve anything…or if there is, it certainly doesn’t show…it’s really not worth the price of admission. The best I could say is, the guy running the “pro shop” was friendly and no one was on the course which made it a very quick and efficient play…was able to hit several shots for practice…I’d be surprise if this place was still around next year…I wish them the best and hope I am wrong but so much needs to improve
Bee-Tee
horrible greens
I stopped at whole 16 5 hours couldn’t finish 18 holes
Not Impressed
Many hole will not reward you for a good drive. Many holes are "Target Golf" where you hit to a spot to hit to another spot. Several holes are very close to each other (watch for balls in your fairway). One hole had the next Tee Box directly behind the green on a par 5 (felt very unsafe sitting in a target zone). I got a "Deal Of the Day" so it wasn't so bad but the normal rate is very overpriced.
Water damage has / is being repaired
The course is much better than it was 6-8 weeks ago. The grass is growing back on the fairways and the greens are fast. We'll play here again for sure!
Nice Round
It was a perfect day for golf!!
Course has a lot of green side traps
Stay away
We had a tee time at 330. Made the turn and everything was closed other than the pro shop which has nothing. Tee boxes are torn up and not flat. Greens are literally mud. Not one single bunker has been raked in the recent past. But the thing that takes the cake is at 7:45 (still plenty of daylight left in the day) we were told, not asked, told to "Bring the carts in!" by a younger guy as we were standing on 17 tee box. I asked if we really couldn't finish the last hole and the guy said "Nope" and drove off and waited for us on 18 tee. When we finished 17 and went to 18, he was there waiting, pointing at the clubhouse. When guy got back to the pro shop, I asked what his name was and all he said was "Why?" We paid $50 to play a sub par golf course and then were treated like children for absolutely no reason. To not let us finish 18 is completely unreasonable and unacceptable.
Coures is in rough shape
Course is in rough shape, needs money put back into it to make it nice again
