The course needs work
the greens had just been aerated but that cant be helped. The two par 5's were in horrible shape, the pro mentioned the course had just been purchased but the previous owner did nothing about the irrigation issues on those holes. give it a year or two and it would be a fun course to play
a little rough
No water available out on the course, it’s a stretch go call the front nine fairways due to their conditions. almost better to hit in the rough. greens were completely covered in sand and aeration. i know that’s necessary but between that and the other greens conditions it was a rough round.
Poorly maintained
They’ve really let this place go since I visited last about 2 years ago. On some holes, It’s hard to even find grass to stand on. I’m one of the least picky golfers in the world but I don’t think I’d go back to Teetering Rocks. Royal meadows looks like Torrey Pines in comparison.
Great course for the price
This golf course is a great course for the price. Would love to see more folks fixing their divots on the greens.
GOOD VALUE AND AVAIL TEE TIME
I booked on a Tuesday night for a Saturday morning, and it was the only course with an avail tee time. It's not in great condition, but it's also pretty cheap and not a lot of people there, so well worth the $ if you aren't super serious about golf and just want to go play around.
Executive course Great for beginners or recreational golfers
Executive course par 66. Fairways more like farmers pasture. But staff extremely friendly and helpful. A bit tight on some holes and has the potential to loose many balls
Skill building course
I am a beginning golfer and I’m looking to build my skills. I don’t have many courses to compare this too but I had a fun experience at Teetering Rocks
Needs A LOT of work
The course is rough. I made my way out there due to a recent review from someone stating it was in good condition and I hadn’t been out there this year yet.
I would t waste your time. The greens are in decent shape, everything else is in poor condition. Some holes much worse than others. Fairways are primarily dirt and weeds with large cracks in the soil as if they’re relying solely on the weather to irrigate the course.
On the positive side, if you’re ok hitting off of dirt or a tee, it’s a place to work on your short game as the course is short.
Dry & Ruff Conditions
The front 9 weren’t to bad. The back 9 was super dry and dusty. There’s some cool holes and layout of the course is nice. It would be a lot better if taken care of.
Very disappointed in the condition of the course. We couldn’t find our balls in the fairways due to poor upkeep.
Greens were really nice and the beer was cold.
Fun but challenging! Recommend for all skill types
Wonderful course, staff, and experience. Greens were in great shape, fairways too in most places. Tee boxes needed a little work. The hills and treelined fairways coupled with "tunnels" through the woods to the next hole were captivating at times. A short-cut taker's delight!
I might have made the first proposal ever on #3's heart-shaped green. She said "Yes!" AND I par'd it. Win win!
David in the clubhouse was most kind and even tracked us down on the back nine to offer us a congratulations and engagement gift!
