Hidden Gem in Northeast Nebraska
Absolutely fantastic course from start to finish! The layout was exciting, each hole offered a fun challenge, and the course was in immaculate shape. The fairways and greens were pristine, and the signature hole was a true standout—both beautiful and memorable. The staff made my trip care free and fantastic (Especially the GM) Easily one of the best golfing experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend!
Good Option
It’s a nice course; well-maintained, some challenging holes & greens, and the staff were friendly. We golfed on a hot day, but they did not have any water jugs out, which would have been nice.
I would golf this again- would like to see if I could improve on a couple of holes.
Basic course without signature hole
The course itself was fine but nothing special. We did play the course after a significant storm the night before, but regardless of that, the course was in pretty good condition minus a few areas under construction. Our biggest frustration was that we were told early in the day, which was appreciated, that the course was walking/push cart only. This was understandable due to the amount of rain the night before, but we made the turn and got to hole 12 only to turn around and see 6-7 carts with golfers zooming around the golf course. We were never offered a cart at the turn and even paid for riding carts. The second frustration was regarding food in the club house. We arrived at noon for our tee time and there wasn’t any food available besides candy, chips, and uncrustables. The staff said they would have hot dogs ready at the turn for us, but this was not the case as they said they forgot. Overall, a very disappointing experience and what I heard was a hidden gem.
Wonderful suprise
A quick hour drive or less from west Omaha heading straight north of Fremont on highway 275 to 77. The greens rolled fast and true but fair, I didn’t 3 putt all day but could’ve. Took a couple penalties 1- OB and 1-Water Hazard on my initial round from attempting the back “ash(brown)” tee's.
My score suffered from a few hundred extra yards and from not knowing how risky a few shots were that I would have played differently if playing more frequently.
Shot 47-43 not playing my best.
Looking forward to playing it again soon with others…
Well kept course
Didn’t have great past experiences at this course due to some flooding that had occurred from a nearby creek. Conditions were exceptional this time out. Greens were especially well managed. Some strange hole layouts but challenging overall.
Great small town course
Really enjoy the layout, value and friendliness of staff
Last three holes-frustrating.
All was perfect until the last three holes. A foursome (we were a twosome) showed up out of the blue and we waited 10 minutes for each shot. We hadn’t seen them all day so I have no idea where they came from? Could have easily let us play through but didn’t.
