Top Notch
What you get when you have a perfect June Sunday with sunny skies, no humidity, no bugs, and near perfectly manicured Tom Fazio golf course with so many interesting holes. Difficulty factor for my game is "10" but I loved the challenge. Each hole is different and secluded from the the others. Course conditions were impeccable tee to green. Even the 1,000 sand traps and waste areas were perfectly groomed and devilish. Great modern clubhouse with a view of the Atlantic City skyline and ocean. I hope to be invited back again soon.
Perfect Conditions
Very well keep course Tee to Green. Layout was very challenging and good variety of holes. Not sure if it's worth the price tag of Membership but it was fun to play for the day. The forecaddie we had to take couldn't read a putt and offered little help during the round.
Top 3 best in the state
Is a must play. New modern architecture really makes it a gem. Very well kept and difficult . This is a course that may be under rated for how good it really is.
Top 10
One of the best in the state. It is comparable with Pine Valley. Scenic, difficult and in excellent condition.
A private Fazio masterpiece that is a "hidden gem"
Galloway National Golf Club is regularly ranked among the best courses in the country. World renowned architect Tom Fazio, meticulously crafted Galloway National’s 7,000 yards out of a 200 acre tract of heavily wooded, gently sloping bayside property.
Fazio made the course perfectly walk able by placing tees close to the greens, there are only four holes which are not very close to one another. The club has excellent caddies which additionally enhance the walking experience. Add breathtaking vistas of the bay and Atlantic City and you have a "perfect walk in the park". Everyone having a chance to play at this exclusive private club should consider themselves lucky.
Caddie did not strike the putts I presume.
