Value for the price
$9 senior rate. Course was empty due to early rain. County course could use a little more TLC on the greens but overall course is a great place to work on your irons and short game
Bad shape
The entire course is over run with crab grass. The fairways and tees boxes are covered with crab grass. It’s even taking over most of the greens. Disappointing conditions for a Nassua county course.
It's an Executive Course at a County Park
Played 2/12/18, windy, cool, sunny.
The course is walking only, pace is quick. The par 4s are interesting, all sight doglegs. Greens are fun to putt, plenty of movement. The course costs $9 to play, it has relatively smooth grass on the fairways and decent greens...for $9 if anything about the place fails to meet your expectations, go pay more somewhere else. This isn't the place for you.
Great beginners course in great shape
For a county 9 hole this course is in fantastic shape.......the last reviewers played in early march, now tell me what course is in great shape that early in the season. ......right . now in the height of the season when it matters the course looks and plays better then it ever has.......I highly recommend
Greens are very poor.
Poor is probably an overall definition of the course. Greens were very slow and fairway was covered in duck droppings. The driving range although was very nice with reasonable prices and heated stalls.
Clean up the course
Course is full of bird droppings. Watch where you step! There is no hole signage indicating hole you are on and the yardage.
