Excellent!
Really good place here. Great layout, great views, and amazing apples! Fun place to play, and it was in great shape.
Interesting layout
There are some challenging holes that will test your course management skills. Lots of blind shots and sharp turns...definitely will play it again
Lucky to have his ascent my local course
Beautiful course wit her three great 9's to play. Staff always make sure sure there I should a great pace of play. Dale is an awesome helpful member of their staff amongst many other great staff. Best course in the area for sure. Greens are quick so bring your a game!
Great course
I had a very enjoyable round at Apple Greens. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rangers were on top of pace of play and did a great job moving the pace of play. Really enjoyed the layout of the course and the greens were in great shape. I would absolutely play this course again!!
Great Course
Play here several times per week. Play is quick, friendly staff, great value. Can get tee times in short notice love this place
Fun little sporty layout
Had fun although I arrived late and had to rush around to get 18 in. I only got 17 , but like I said it was my fault and sun was setting early. A lot of shortish par 4’s, but setting for greens and their condition made it very interesting. It’s late in season and bar wasn’t open, but again it was my fault. Need to it hit it fairly straight. If u get off fairway the apple trees will make life miserable!
Beautiful
This course is always beautiful but it’s even more so in the fall. The conditions were awesome and the rangers and starter couldn’t have been more friendly. This was a great day of golf.
Great course
I was very impressed with this course. I play all over the tri-state area and decided to give Apple Greens a try for the first time based on all the positive reviews I've read.
As a first timer, I benefited from advice given to me by my playing partners. There were a handful of blind tee shots, but nothing crazy. I recommend walking the course, as it was not too much of a challenge.
Pros-
-very well maintained
-nice layout
-great mix of long and short holes
-great scenery and views of the hudson valley
-walkable for most
-pace of play
-smells like apples on every hole
Cons-
-rows of apple trees make for a difficult hazard to avoid
-bit of confusion on first tee. Starter told us we were next and somehow two groups got in front of us. Not a big deal once we were out, though
Tips-
-there aren't too many places to lose a ball on this course, but stay out of the apple trees because you will feel like you're being penalized
Beautiful Course
Played the course which is always challenging which ever of the 3- 9 holes courses, i like the 10th throurh the 27th the best, and this time of year you can eat some apples during the round makes it even better. The views are outstanding and the course crew are always great to deal with. I highly recommend this course.
pretty course, much apples
good condition overall, green still is in healing stage from aeration. little slower moving than I expected, but 4~5 rangers keep push and help front groups.
Off the fairways, tough to find balls due apple fell down season. fantastic values: price vs. quality vs, travel distance.
Orchard Golf
Challenging course. Fermenting Apple's were a distraction. Great starter. Had a good time.
Great as always
Course was in very good shape. Greens were a little sandy due to recent aeration but rest of course was in excellent shape. Played 18 holes i 3 hours 15 minutes
great condition except
This course great.Played the East and then the back 9.The downside was that the greens were airiated but putted okay.
great fairways
Play this course if you are in the hudson valley part of NYS. Course was in great condition with great views of mountains..staff very friendly and the fairways really good shape. The rough was cut at a height that let even the new player have a chance to advance the ball.
Awesome course
You won't find a better course in the Hudson Valley for the price.
