NICE LITTLE COURSE
For a senior-living community golf course, this 9-hole course is a great place to play. If you have limited time for golf, it's an ideal course. At times M-F after 2pm you can tee off at any time with just a few players on the course. This course is well maintained with green conditions that match most high profile courses.
Play it. You'll like it!
Great deal
Litlle know 9 hole course. Excellent condition and friendly staff.
Fun and Fast Round
Played 9 on a Sunday morning as a single. Beautiful course that is very well maintained. Not going to masquerade as a championship course, but great for a fun round. Definitely will play again soon!
Great course
I booked the course for my son who is 11 and to my surprise I enjoyed it just as much as he did . We will definite play again when in Greensboro.
Great course overall
For the money and timing this course is great. The greens are in great shape and overall the course is very easy. The ninth hole is always a challenge and a great way to end either 9 or 18. I played here for 8 bucks and that was with a cart!
Pleasant course
Nine hole course that even some locals don't know is there. Used by a league and residents on three weekdays means afternoon only play on those days, but priced accordingly. Nice, easygoing layout, not too difficult, like a stroll in the park. Until you arrive at number nine! And the staff is perfect.
great shape
best 10 bux ever spent. I wasnt planning on playing that day, but got the bug, and thanks to a last minute hotdeal, walked right on. BEST ten bux ever spent ( 9 holes)
Great 9 hole course
Great 9 hole course. Played the blues on first nine then the whites on the second go round. Greens were recently punched but still not that bad. Normally has some of the best greens in the triad area and I have played almost all the courses in the triad. The club house does not have food except for a few snack and drink options which I don't mind because I don't eat when I play anyway. Overall the course is a fun one with number 9 being a bit challenging.
Golfers Beware!
Booked thru Golfnow on 4/4/14 for 9 holes. On arrival was told they do not take tee times and did not want to honor price booked on Golfnow. Finally honored price after much discussion but was told they would not honor it again. Told them no worries would never come back again. Please Golfnow correct this problem or remove them from your listings. Very unfriendly.
Great track for an afternoon 9.
Greenskeeper may be the best in NC!!! a good nine hole course, especially for the price
Course needs some work on the tee boxes and fairways.
They do not blow the leaves on this course so balls were difficult to find at times. Greens were covered with leaves which made it hard to putt. Yardage not marked well.
Excellent condition
Although not a long course by any means, River Landing at Sandy Ridge is an excellent value if you are looking for a nine-hole option. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course. The fairways were almost perfect, the greens were smooth, not fast, but decent speed. And you do not want to get in the rough! Several inches deep, and very easy for a ball to hide.
The only problem that I saw was that the grounds crew did not empty the mower baskets and left trails of clippings on some greens. There were also clumps of grass in the rough. To be fair, there has been a lot of rain in the area over the past two months, which accounts for the extra grass in the rough.
Very pleasant experience
River Landing at Sandy Ridge was is really good condition when I played. Tee boxes and fairways were excellent. The greens were somewhat slow in speed, but consistent and rolled very smoothly. Although the course has only 9 holes, there are several challenges along the way that make for an enjoyable round.
This is a fun little course!
This course is ideal if you are willing to play the exact same holes twice. The course truly is a nine hole course without multiple tee boxes Several of the holes are challenging. There is a bit of water on the holes as well. The greens were in super great shape. Well worth the money!
Great little 9 hole course
Well kept, friendly staff. Relatively easy course, with a couple of more challenging holes running around the edge of the retirement community.
Thought we had the wrong address, but keep driving on the main road until you see Links Avenue, turn left and you'll see the clubhouse on the right.
