At Grand Lake Golf Course in Colorado, there are some grand views
GRAND LAKE, Colo. -- One of the older golf courses in the area, Grand Lake Golf Course remains a favorite.
Designed by Dick Phelps and opened in 1964, the course features traditional holes with great views of the snow-capped mountains and Rocky Mountain Park next door. There are elevated tees and greens, plenty of pine and aspen trees and a few water hazards to test golfers on this course that plays just 6,553 yards from the tips. Along the way, there's also plenty of wildlife, including moose, elk, deer and foxes.
