This week's Power Rankings features a top 10 spanning coast to coast, and a new golf course is on top.
Top-ranked Balmoral Woods, located south of Chicago, is set on 280 scenic acres and delivers fine value and hole variety according to recent reviews.
liztodd has reviewed 15 courses on Golf Advisor but has only awarded three courses five stars, including most recently Balmoral Woods:
What a great layout! Doglegs, Elevation Changes, Wetlands, Well Protected Greens, Perfect Fairways and True Greens. Some fairways are tight others are open. The par threes are all fun and pretty. I actually took a few pictures which I rarely do. This is loop course so it does not turn at the clubhouse but there's a nice half-way house. It's a MUST play.
