Golf Advisor: Top-rated courses for the month of May

The month of May brought much-needed sunshine to much of the northern United States, and golf season is officially underway just about everywhere.

As a result, our May Power Rankings are dominated by Northeast and Midwest golf courses, coming from sun-starved golfers grateful they finally have golf to play after a long winter in hibernation.

That doesn't mean southern courses are closing up shop. We're still receiving very positive reviews from courses in such top destinations as Las Vegas, Tucson and Orlando.

Check out the full top 10 below, based on your ratings and reviews (over 17,000!) throughout the month of May. You can click on each course to see what golfers have to say about the experience.
