Top-rated courses according to reviews in Q3

Power Rankings: Top-rated golf courses for the 3rd quarter, 2017

Summer is now a distant memory and fall is upon us and all that entails: foliage, cooler temps and perhaps losing the odd ball or two in the leaves.

Before we turn the page on summer however, let's look back at the courses that fared best between July and September.

We examined your reviews to see which courses earned the highest marks in both overall and subcategory ratings for the third quarter. The top course in that time period is in California's central coast, Ridge Creek Dinuba Golf Club. Our Local Golf Advisor, CenCalHack, reviewed the course during this timeframe and suggested that some recent changes to the course have improved pace of play and the experience overall.

"The course is very lush right now. Those of you that have played here before know that the course is normally set up to imitate a very hard fast links style...The longer cut in the fairways combined with the new cut of rough is an excellent move by the course."

You can view the top-rated courses below. Click on their course guide page to see details.

(Courses needed a minimum of five reviews during that time frame).
