Forest Oaks Country Club

This is a terrific championship course. It’s tough but fair and worth the money. The putting is very challenging.It’s long but fair. It’s a full country club experience.
The food availability is poor. There are no breakfast items or burritos only hot dogs or egg salad sandwiches. The restaurant has food only between 11:30 AM and 2:30PM. Drinks only until 4:30 PM.

Course was in decent shape for late winter. Bermuda rough was dormant but thick and easy to hit out of. Greens ran true and were quick. Great layout. Would like to play it again when it warms up and the Bermuda greens up. 5 sets of tees for all abilities. It’s obvious why the pga tour played here until 2007. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed

Walk with two other golfers. Had great time . Got a great rate for the value. Loved the course.

The course is beautiful, challenging and in great shape. Greens are difficult with several false fronts but run true. It was very crowded due to mid-60 degree temps in February so play was slow but it was worth it. It is a championship caliber course for the cost of a run of the mill track for this area. This is a must play course!

Great course. Ball washers and towels missing only..

Played on 02/09/2022 and checked in at pro shop and got to go out a little early. Played as a twosome and round took four hours to play but never seemed rushed from behind but followed a twosome that were walking. It was also Cart path only but course pretty flat so no problem. Some of the tee boxes were lacking grass and no beverage cart on course. Went by restroom on the course and it was locked. Greens ran around an 8 and I fixed five divots on every green. I probably won't be back.

Really enjoyed the course. Pace was okay. Pretty dry considering the snow and rain we have gotten of late. At the turn people from the bar were over ordering food at the half way house in front of golfers making the turn. That was disappointing.

Recommend to all. Multiple tee boxes allow all levels of ability. Excellent shape and excellent value. I really don't have any negatives other than the middle of January carts were limited to the cart paths - - of course understood why that had to be done.

Great layout that is always in great shape. Its awesome that we have a course like this that is open to the public.

Every visit I make to Forest Oaks makes me and my game better. The atmosphere, conditions and layout will bring out the best in your game no matter if you play once a week or once a month. Fantastic greens and tee boxes along with well groomed fairways. Always a great experience.

I liked everything I saw at this club. The course was golfer friendly, not too hard. The staff was wonderful and every thing including the driving range was clean and very nice. The lady in the halfway house was really great, fixed our food just right and so friendly to work with. Can not wait to get back to play another round with my grandson, that also really like the facility. Thank you for providing such a nice place to play golf.

I would highly recommend Forest Oaks to all levels of players! Course is in great shape and the greens are very fast! The pace of play was good, despite having a it of players on the course. Staff is very friendly. We had a lovely day!
