About
Deercroft Golf Club is located just 20 minutes South of Pinehurst has twice been the site for PGA qualifying schools as well as PGA Senior tour qualifying events. Readers of golfweek have voted Deercroft one of "America's Best Courses" for six consecutive years.
The course features lush fairways, manicured bent-grass greens and views that are out-of-this world.
Probably because of the few extra minutes' drive necessary to reach the course, the green fees are among the most reasonable in the area, especially when you consider the quality of the golf.

Great value all around.
Most enjoyable round of the five during our stay in Pinehurst area. Staff was over the top friendly and most helpful. We will return here every time we are in the area.
Saturday morning Golf
First thing the staff was very friendly when I got there and since I was a single player, put me with a experience group which was very friendly also. I was welcomed back anytime to play with them. I highly recommend this course to anyone and I will play there again.
Great place Golf and BBQ
The staff is absolutely fantastic and they are very helpful and professional.
Course has a great layout.
The hidden gem is Chuck in the restaurant, the nicest guy you can meet and the absolute best BBQ that Chuck smokes himself!!
We had the smoked Brisket and it melted in my mouth …
Chuck In my opinion is a TOP tier BBQ pit master.
You will not be disappointed for some great BBQ after a Great round of golf!

Deercroft
First time playing this course while visiting family, very friendly staff. Course was in good shape, super fast greens today. Only negative would be cart paths were needing some TLC. Will definitely play again.
Disappointed
We’ve played this course before and the course conditions were not great but acceptable. This time the conditions were not good at all. Not sure we’ll return.
Great Potential
Greens rolled well, fairways need some attention. But overall nice place.
Amazing value
This course is absolutely a hidden gem. The layout is amazing, the conditions are pure, even the carts have Bluetooth to connect your phone to for music purposes. And for the price, it is amazing especially if you are a local.

Great fun
Myself and two son-in-laws played this course and had a great round. Staff was attentive, course was in good condition, and it was challenging. Great fun.
nice layout, good value
For under $50 it's a good deal. I had the course to myself at noon on a nice Saturday. Bent greens that they need to keep wet in the summer heat so they are soft and slow. Numerous areas around greens and tee boxes that are bare. Very little sand in the bunkers. In cooler weather this would probably be much better. Layout is nice and the course is very playable.
Enjoy it
First off as soon as I pulled up this nice gentleman brought a cart right to my car and from that point on I knew it was gonna be a good day. The lady inside that I checked in with was awesome also, told me where the certain holes were offered to get some soda in the fridge for me(early morning 1st tee time) explained the course and also that the cart had Bluetooth speakers built in and the gps app. I’ve never played here before and coming down from Baltimore to play the BIG places course I think I will just skip that big place next time and just play right here and that’s the absolute truth. Wonderful course and even better staff would recommend this course to any and everybody and if they have any bad reviews the person that wrote it either works at a competitive course or they are lying lol
Pinehurst trip
Staff was super friendly. Course was in terrible condition with some tee boxes unplayable. We paid $80 on a course that is worth $40. You’re paying for a course cause it’s located around the Pinehurst area. Food is pretty good and really good prices for beer as well

Really enjoyed my round at Deercroft! Overall condo was good, the greens are in excellent shape, albeit kinda slow. I will definitely go back!

Super friendly staff and nice course!
My wife and I played here on a Sunday afternoon. The pace of play was very good - we didn't see a ranger but then again, didn't need one. We really liked the course and layout. Short par 5's, but you have to be accurate in order to take advantage. Greens were in great shape - mostly pretty large and forgiving. Many of them are sloped quite a bit from back to front, so shot placement is key.
Ordered a hot dog at the turn and it was $3.00 and came with a bag of chips! Finished our round in under 4 hours and had a great day. Just found that I accidentally left my range finder in the cart (4 hours away from home). Called the course and they are going to hold it for me until I am back in the area in 3 weeks. They couldn't have been nicer!
Overall, I really enjoyed Deercroft and would certainly play again. A little off the beaten path from Pinehurst and Southern Pines, but only 20 minutes or so away and well worth it.

Fun and fair course with plenty of tee box options. Staff are very hospitable and helpful. Greens in fantastic shape. Some minor dead spots on tee boxes and fairways but nothing that takes away from course. Excellent experience. Would recommend and will be back soon.
