Chippewa Golf Club

About
Established in 1926, Chippewa Golf Club in Curtice is one of the area's oldest courses. The course was designed by Toledo native Harold Weber, who was a four-time Ohio amateur champion and the city's first famous golfer. The layout has retained its traditional design and feel characterized by tree-lined fairways and small greens framed by strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the bunkers, there are two creeks that wind along the length of the golf course, coming into play on 15 holes. Golfers should be prepared for some tricky carries on the water holes. Though there are some holes that will make you think, Chippewa is a classic layout that players of all skill levels can enjoy. There are five sets of tees to make it even more approachable.

Greens were in rough shape. Likely due to being so early in the season. There were a couple 6 person groups which was kind of annoying but otherwise a pretty good time.
I would like a refund.
I visited Chippewa golf club on November 10th, but the club was closed and I was unable to play.
I contacted you about this last week and asked for a refund but have not received any response.
I would like a refund as soon as possible.
It was closed.
On November 10th,I visited Chippewa golf club at the reserved time, but it was closed.
Please refund me.
Always Enjoy Playing at Chippewa
I like playing at Chippewa. Fun course...the front 9 plays different than back 9.
Going downhill
I played this course in the 90s. It was horrible.
I gave it a try again about 8 years ago. It had been refurbished and was great. What I saw last week was disturbing. The greens were terrible. We had a hot spell recently , but you don’t let the greens go like that. I will probably give it a try again in the spring, since I have enjoyed the course a lot over the last eight years. I heard they lost their greens keeper recently. If so, they need to replace with a quality greens keeper. Don’t let this gem go down the tubes.
Nice Course
The course was fun, easy to fallow, and staff were very friendly.
Pace of Play
The course was nice and well kept. The staff noted that including myself, other golfers were late to arrive. I would expect to rate the course higher when I book directly with the course on a less crowded day. Sunday was very busy and we only played 7 holes. I would not book through golf now. Book directly with the course to facilitate flexibility in the event you need to make any changes or want to scale from 18 to 9 holes or move your tee time.
Great value fast pace great conditions
Played 18 on a Monday afternoon for $20 with cart. Can’t beat the value was in great condition staff very accommodating. Played in just over 3 hrs.
Not Bad
I enjoyed this course, it was clean and the golf carts were clean as well
The layout is pretty open, easy to find your ball is you shank it or slice it.
I would definitely play this course again
I know it's early and the course will improve, but there's been no effort to get the greens rolling. It appeared to me the greens had not been touched, ie; mowed or rolled.
