About
Opened in 1923, Madison Country Club is one of the oldest courses in the area. It has a traditional design that measures to a modest 6,145 yards from the back tees. The golf course may be short by modern standards but this member-owned course has been a local favorite since it first opened. The classic layout has wide, player-friendly fairways that offer plenty of room and the terrain is mostly flat, making it a good golf course to walk. There are a few mature trees scattered throughout and you'll also come across some strategically placed bunkers as well. Madison Country Club is ideal for beginners but it's also a great round of practice for more advanced players. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range and short-game area at the club.

Clubhouse / Halfway House in very poor condition. Owner was extremely unfriendly. “Driving range” didn’t have a blade a grass to hit from. Course itself in okay condition.

A great course. Always enjoy the challenge. The fairways and greens are in good condition.
Great
The course was really good shape. Couple of spots may have been a little rough but not really in play. Fairways- nice, greens - true and fast, and the rough was generally good with taller grass. Balls a bit hard to find, but hey pay attention or don’t hit there.
Amoung the best greens I have played this year. Good value.
What are the chances?
Amazingly ironic, we were paired up with two guys, when introducing ourselves, we realized we were paired up before at a different course in the spring. Enjoyed our reunion and golf as well.

Go for the golf and be amazed by the wonderful staff.
Course always meticulously maintained.Greens are a standout.
The pro shop team are each pleasant, welcoming and appreciative of all golfers.Hard to find a nicer crew.After checking in you are greeted with a a not too challenging opening hole-a nice start.
Nice Course But Brutally Slow
The course is really nice and a good challenge. The tee boxes and greens are well cared for and the rest of the course was in good shape too. The driving range was not in good shape. It is mostly thick weedy grass but okay to warm up. The employees were nice and the amenities inside were good with food and drinks but no cart girl. The only downside to Madison CC was the pace of play. It was brutally slow both times I’ve played. There is no starter so people just go off when they want which created a backlog of people. One hole had four groups of foursomes waiting to tee off. We actually just picked up our ball on 11 and called it a day. We were spending 20+ minutes waiting to tee off each hole and there was no ranger to push the pace. It was so bad people were just hole hopping to get in their 18. I’d play here again, but they need to work on getting the pace of play up.

Beautiful course on a lovely day
The course was in great condition considering a week of 90+ temps had just passed. Love the electric carts - so quiet! We will be back especially it there's another Hot Deal!
