Prestwick Round
Welcome change to be able to play a "private" course. Have played there in the past with a friend whom was a member. I think the course has been in better shape in the past but, it was in better shape than some of the other courses in the area. I think they can put more efforts into cutting down the weeds around the rims of the bunkers. They may loose a few of the greens if not work is done to save them. Definitely will play again. The white tees are long so bring your best game.
Old style tree lined fairways...
Old style tree lined fairways, you can almost walk across the ponds there is so much algae and several holes really smell. Many homes very very close to the fairway.

Prestwick is a fair test of golf that offers a variety of tee options depending on your skill level. Greens are fair and putt true.

Simply outstanding experience! We golfed it on a rainy miserable day and we couldn't have been more impressed with he conditions, especially the front nine, staff, and facilities! Definitely will play it again and again...and again!
Course makes you think.
First time I played here and it was worth the 20 year wait. This is a private country club not open to the public except thru golfnow. The course is beautiful and the architect designed it to truly make you think about how you will play the hole. The fairways were not the best or what you would expect from a private club but the greens made up for that. They were extremely fast and ran very true. Lots of water and beautiful layout. Play it while they give ya the opportunity. It was well worth it..

Course was in average condition. Tee boxes not at a par with many public courses. Greens the same, definitely not country club conditions. Again, great layout that's seen better days.

the greens had chicken pox but all in all were not to bad but did have some spots bigger or worse than on any course I had seen all year we actually had to get and give relief to a few spots on the greens fast fairways very neat layout very good test of your game
