Terrible People
Besides Kevin at the Club house he is outstanding
Dead Greens but still charged full price.
I live south of Seminole in Ada. It's about a 70 mile round-trip. Called in for my tee time and told the guy working the pro shop that I'd be driving from Ada. At no point during our phone conversation nor when I got there and paid for my 18 holes did the guy feel it was necessary to tell me that the greens had been ruined by the staff and were unplayable. I'm guessing staff had over fertilized and had left 10×10 " burned" areas on every single green. I called after the fact and was wondering if I could received a comped round once they were fixed. Never got a call back from the course or the city that apparently owns it
Can and will play again, no doubt
First off, the staff was very friendly, informative and quite helpful. 4 tees boxes to play from, so a person can bite off as much of a challenge as they want. Love the grass that is used on the tee boxes. The greens were lightning quick, but rolled very true. The overall look and layout of the course was gorgeous. Can see why it has hosted national events.
Non-Members unappreciated
First, let me start by stating how well maintained this course is. You'll be hard pressed to find a better kept course in Oklahoma. We played in the middle of December but the greens and fairways were still immaculate. The layout was good, but not exceptional. Bunkers were raked spotless, and the food at the clubhouse was phenomenal. Our disdain for this facility came after our meeting with the field marshal on the fairway of the ninth hole. We were waiting for the party in front to finish putting their green out when he approached. He wanted us to take 'a break' in the club house at the turnaround, in order to create a gap. Apparently the single behind us was "one of their better players" and he didn't want to have anyone on his hole at the same time. Unbelievable way to treat patrons who have set a tee time and paid green fees, and traveled quite a distance, in order to play their course. We will not be returning due to lack of consideration to non-members!

Pay attention to what golf course you are rating!! You are referring to the golf course in Norman, OK not the course in Seminole, OK!!!

The Seminole Jimmy Austin Golf Course has no food in the clubhouse. This is again the wrong Jimmy Austin Golf Course. Everyone keeps reviewing the Norman Jimmy Austin Golf Course.
Would like to play it again when it is warmer
challenging course, good lay-out, although it was cold when I played here it was enjoyable.

I believe you have the wrong course. This is the original Jimmy Austin Golf Course in Seminole, OK. The reason I know you are mistaken is that their greens could never be described as lightening quick and the tee boxes can be spotty at times.
