Par 3 at LaFortune Park Golf Course

Visiting from out of town, for PGA Championship at Southern Hills. This course was easy to get to from the airport before sunset we got 9 holes in plus a few on the back before dark. Friendly greeting and service from staff, and the pro shop is open until 10pm since they have the par 3 course under the lights.

Course conditions and pace of play were fine for a cool and calm Saturday evening, and the price was lowest I've paid anywhere in the U.S. for solid muni 9 holes, great value! Layout has enough changes and variety to keep things moving, but nothing spectacular. Easily walkable, not too hilly, and they have push carts to rent. I would recommend this course to anyone in Tulsa looking for a great value and good conditions and service.

I visited my friends (who played), I only came to watch them play, I want to learn golf. I visited the cafe and bought hotdogs for myself and my friends. The hotdogs were very old, wrinkle and burned, they looked like they were cooked over and over a few times. We ended up tossing them in the trash.

The potato chips were outdated (expired). There wasn't a single candy bar available. My friends bought some beer and they wanted some ice, the manager (the lady in blond who I think she was in charged) was very reluctant.

Last year I visited and it was totally different, has management changed? I remember the staff I met last year was super friendly, I loved the hotdog and the sandwiches were so fresh and delicious. I even came back for a second sandwich. This time it was a totally disappointment.

My friends told me they will not come back. This place needs major change in management.

I really enjoy playing this course, I have played it before and it brings back good memories.

This course was revamped several years ago and they made the greens more difficult. The greens are pretty fast and many putts will have a lot of break. The fairways are generous but bad drives can easily end up in trees or water. The greenside bunkers are deep and the fairway bunkers are well placed to catch drives. The elevation changes make several holes more difficult. This course is a favorite of locals and can be very crowded on weekends.

My wife and I play here sometimes on Monday nights and its really fun for her and good practice for me. The whole place is lighted and you can even rent a cart. Grab a few brews and play 18 under the lights when it's cool out. The greens are kind of funky and hilly. But they have to add some kind of challenge to it. The greens are kind of slow but are in good shape. You just have to go for it when you get on the green. Well worth the experience and not over priced at all.
