Friendliest owner in town!
Great course for families, newer golfers and anyone wanting to sharpen their short game. Excellent price for the play. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Scott, who thanked us for coming out. Pace of play was slow due to a tournament in front of us. When we finished, there was Scott thanking us again and encouraging us to come back. We had our grandsons with us and everyone had fun. We will be back!
Excellent little executive course
We don’t have a lot of time or if you’re playing with some beginners this is a great little nine hole course.
The greens were a little fuzzy, but other than that for what you pay for this is a great time
Started off as a potential favorite but I won’t be back.
I was hoping to make this my regular course but after one subpar experience followed by a downright crappy one, I can’t see myself coming back. I golf 9 holes because I only have time to golf 9 holes. I don’t expect lightning speeds, but waiting 9-12 minutes on every single tee box and often waiting in the fairways for 3-5 minutes for groups to finish out putting means I’m forced to pick up on hole 4 or 5 and go home. I get that courses need to make their money so they try to maximize the number of tee times, but I don’t think that should come at the expense of the experience of the game. And to top it all off, when the guy in the pro shop saw me getting in my car to leave after the 4th hole (and an hour on the course at this point) he asked if I was giving up and when I said yes he sarcastically said “glad you had a great time”. Pretty crap to mismanage the course and then throw rude comments at the people who get rightfully bothered by it.
Greenlea golf course is worth the trip
Such a great course very unique executive course. Greens were challenging and rolled so nice. Well maintained course and got done way faster than other courses. Very charming course
Great little challenge
This is a great little course 9 hole 31 par challenging course. Scott (owner) does an excellent job of keeping the course in great shape. Don't let the distance fool you... the greens are tough! My wife and I walk this in usually about an hour. Sometimes there's the beginners out there so maybe 1:20 on those days. Trees on every hole. Water on 7(if you hit too long) and 8(If the tee boxes are in the back). All in all great value and nice people!
Course trying to survive
Course is in poor shape and feels like it is trying to survive for loyal customers.
Save your money..
It’s not like it’s an expensive 9. But fairways are super bumpy. Tee boxes have tons of broken tees and divots taken out. None of the holes had numbers on them. Hard to tell where next tee box was. Paid $72 for a cart and 18 holes for 2. Def better places to play!
