Awesome layoit
I was plesantly surprised to see the course with many hills and slopes. The green was well maintained with good speed. I will go back again. The staff was friendly.
I loved it
I was lucky enough to play here on a trip to SoCal and am thankful for it.
Course is in bad shape
The fairways and rough need some work. The first few holes are in bad shape and 18 needs a complete make over. This course can be so nice with a little TLC. Great layout, great Clubhouse and great staff. It does suffer from slow play.
Nice private course
Course was in great shape. Nice private course - nothing fancy. Reasonable fees. No driving range - just nets.
Must play
Enjoyed the whole day, was looked after and was helped by pro in shop, starter and members. Would definitely return. Came back on the night with the wife for a great meal. Just wish I could pronounce the place
Very nice staff, clubhouse, and greens
AVCC is a nice relatively new club in Orange County. Facilities are very nice and staff was great from pro shop to carts and everyone we encountered were friendly. The course is quite elevated and the views of the valley on the back 9 are fantastic. Greens were in excellent shape and fairways were good. The layout winds around the side of the hills and there's a good bit of back tracking from greens to tees (saw a lot of people walking the course but I think it would be pretty tough to walk). Some very good par 5's and a unique extreme downhill par 3 that plays about 2 clubs short of stated yardage. Overall an excellent experience and a very nice club. Only negative is lack of a true driving range, but the nets and mats are in good shape and you can still get a full warm up. The ducks have taken over 10 and 18 and are making a mess of the fairway by the lake on 18.
