Not on my Christmas list
The fairways need a lot of work. Sand traps and Greens were excellent. Tee boxes were nothing to write home about. We had a tee time of noon and were traveling from Reno to Portland. We got there at 11am and were able to get right out. When you finished one par three you had to go in front of the tee box for the next hole which was a par five. Bad layout.
Beautiful course with beautiful views everywhere. A lot of water hazards so a bit challenging. Had a great time there. And shot my first 90!!!
Groundskeepers were everywhere during my 9 holes mowing and randomly turning on sprinklers.......just about every hole. Plus the location next to the lumber yard and noisy factory area was not ideal for a relaxing experience.
Loved the greens. Will be back before we leave town
Awesome course
This course is a gem. It is in great shape and a fun layout, A few hard holes, but overall scoreable. Definitely recommend this course
Water water everywhere!
This is a really nice course! You have water views, the lumber mill is right there, and rolling hills w/ distant mountains. Friendly staff as well.
Water is simply everywhere! Nearly all the holes have water in play in some way or another. It is a really well put together layout. Island green on #8 is a fun one!
The course is in good shape, however the greens were just aerated. Surprisingly, they rolled ok-ish and not bumpy, but certainly slow.
Nice course!
8am tee time. A little chilly morning, so no one was out on course yet. Felt like we had the course to ourselves. Had a wonderful time.
Real nice coarse
Coarse is kept well watered. Get a reward for a good chip shot. Some complain that it is ruff for the golf carts. That is due to the little seismic activity that is in that area. It is better than other coarse in the area. They do have a nice putting and chipping green. Would recommend it to anyone.
Harbor links
Course was in excellent condition for the most part. Played in a little over 3hrs. I would recommend it to all.
Fun course Bumpy Ride
The Greens were in fantastic shape, True rolling and moderately quick. The Tee boxes were well cared for. The fairway grass was green and thick and beautifully maintained, however driving the cart on the course was one bumpy ride. Lots and lots of dips and holes, it was like being in a huge meadow in its natural state. There aren’t any real cart paths on most of the holes so driving down the fairway had to be done slowly and carefully to avoid the larger bumps. But, except for it being different than most courses I play from a bumpy standpoint, I really enjoyed the round. The staff were wonderful, very warm and welcoming and they made my wife and I feel right at home and important. There is water everywhere. I’m not sure I’ve ever played a course with more water features. If you don’t hit a very well controlled ball off the tee, you are going to lose some balls. I know I did. It’s a fairly short course, but very tight and quite challenging. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed, we went an a Tuesday morning and the pace of play was fantastic.
Fairways cut very narrow and cut high so not much roll. Rough very hard to hit out of. Hole yardages way off. Greens very nice.
