Pleasant Valley Golf Club

Pleasant Valley has made great strides with changing and improving the course over the past few years. Multiple sets of tees, rerouting and redesigning holes to make them more interesting, and upgraded amenities are just a few examples.

The best part about the course is the conditions. From tees to greens, everything was taken care of. Rough and fairway grass was lush and the greens were very fair.

The holes across the highway are more fun than the hilly ones in the front nine. The island green par-3 (hole 17) is excellent, offering tee boxes from yardages from 110 all the way up to 228.

Everything about the course is in good shape, and I look forward to playing it again soon.

Beautiful course always in good condition. First year playing this course. Went about 5 times so far. Always mange to find a hot deal during the week for $25 to play 18. Challenging course overall given all the water on the front. Favorite hole has to be 8 with the island green. The pavilion has great food and the pro shop is very nice. The carts are also better than most and they always provide nice tees for you. The only course that has fill for your divots on the cart which shows they care.

Enjoyable course. Very busy today, did a pretty good job of keeping things organized. Course yardage is short. Greens are small and firm, so you'll want the short clubs in to be able to hold the greens. Different from many Western PA courses -- easily walkable and I'll walk the next time out here. Staff were great and the pre-round lunch was quite good. Will be back, wish it wasn't a good solid hour drive.

Was looking forward to playing here. They had a “Runber Duck” event and sent us off the back, which I didn’t mind. Play was good till around 14. Started getting pushed by a 2 some. Offered to let them play through and they declined. Finished back and headed to front. Got to #5 and the party started! People from the event (I guess) rolled out onto course in 20 carts. Yelling screaming laughing! Hooping and hollering all over the place. Didn’t appreciate that

Don’t understand why there is not speed limit reduction for course area. Very dangerous crossing very busy road.

Greens were very true but course should hand out repair tools as no one seems to repair ball marks!

Haven’t played here in like ten years. I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in great shape. And the pavilion was awesome.

The only complaint i had is that the green conditions were super fast and some of the pins were in seemingly tournament locations. Putts were rolling three feet past when barely hit. Playing a casual round is less fun when good shots onto the green roll off and any downhill putt has no chance of stopping

I’ve probably been to this course 3 times now and it’s like it gets better every time somehow.

Last time I went I believe I started where what is now hole 9. And this current layout seemed to really just better. I don’t know if that was the original layout while they fixed some parts of the course but very fun.

Conditions were great and pace was on point. Even stepped away for a hot dog and jumped right back in without issue.

Challenging course with front playing differently than back. Gotta hit ‘em straight! Great bar, with great food!

My wife and I enjoyed playing a round of golf and enjoyed a great meal afterwards. The continued updates are a welcome site. I understand they are creating a driving/practice range that will open later this year.

I love playing this course - plenty of challenge - a little long for us seniors playing from the golf tees.
