About
Located at the center of Armstrong County, Lenape Heights Golf Resort is only minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This public golf course has an accessible 18-hole layout for players of all skill levels. There are a few challenges to contend with including strategically placed sand traps and lakes, but the course is gentle enough for players of all skill levels. The golf course is one of the best values in the area, not only offering a solid round but immaculately manicured fairways and some of the best greens in the area. The front nine has wide-open fairways and the back nine gets a bit tighter. There are some good driving holes and you'll get some short game practice as well. Lenape Heights finishes with a tough uphill hole with a blind approach to the severely sloped green.

Waterless - Pump down - Dry, Dry & Hard
This course use to be one of my favorites. I would drive an hour to play it. This year the course was a nightmare. Your hand hurt after trying to drive your tee into the ground. The fairways had tufts of good grass that we were willing to move our balls to play on. Just when you thought you had a nice approach shot, the ball would roll off every green. The greens were so extremely hard. Ball were bouncing several feet in the air. They were like concrete. Shame on Lenape for charging $55.00 to play on a course knowing the dilapidated conditions. I won't be back.

Greens held and rolled nice.played at noon was a three hour round.
A good challenge
The course is well-maintained. The greens are undulating and true and roll smoothly, though I think they could be much faster. The sand traps are filled with fine white sand which is well-maintained.
I just do not like hole number nine and hole number 17. They are not up to par.
Always a pleasure
As usual, the course was in great shape. I had the first tee time so I breezed through 18 holes in two and a half hours. I do wish the greens were a little faster. I also Wish that the sand traps would be raked. There is plenty of sand.

Nice Clubhouse, bar, restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. All staff were nice

Nice course
Lenape Heights was in good condition and a pleasure to play. The payout was a bit short, yet challenging. The greens were slick, but not in a ridiculous way. It poured at the turn and the back nine drained well. Overall, this was a great course, especially for the money. The clubhouse and bar area were also nice and reasonably priced. The bartender was pleasant and efficient.
Great course and even better price!
Very fun course! The greens are a bit wavy, but if you are looking for a challenge in the short game you’ll love it. Overall I have to give this course high praise due to the friendly staff and course layout. As someone very new to golf I plan on play here more and I’d absolutely recommend it to others!

Course was in excellent condition including greens and sand traps. Staff were friendly and helpful.Layout is up and down so if you like to walk be prepared.
