Back nineslow play
Front nine played quick but multiple foursomes on back nine playing a scramble extremely slow with no ranger in site to speed up play
Not in very good shape
I was at this course a few years ago with my son as a scorekeeper for a Jr tournament. It was beautiful
Now the fairways are hard as a rock and brown and the greens were impossible
Nice corse
Its a nice corse. It was a little narrow but was a nice challenge
Tight Out Of The Tee Box
Most tee shots require tunnel vision guidance onto narrow and hilly fairways with trouble on both sides. But fortunately you don't need much tee length since the course is somewhat short and better players can almost leave the big dog at home in favor of the 3W. As difficult as the tee shots are, the rest of the course is relatively straight forward. The greens are well cared for and true, but generally unguarded by hazards or other dangers. Every putt inside 20 feet feels makeable. Overall conditions of the course were good considering how hot and dry the summer has been. Price is right for the venue.
A hidden gem
This course was a definite one to add to your must playlist. The course is narrow which makes it challenging. The facilities were in great shape. The greens were fairly fast and well maintained. The staff was top notch and it will be hard to find anyone friendlier than these people. I would love to tell everyone how great this course is and reasonably priced. For the money we got more than expected. It has been added to out list to visit often. Go play a round and you will see that this is a great place.
Nice Course
After only playing golf in Columbus, OH, playing this course was very different from what I am used to. Why you ask? The hills! This course is very hill and often times you will be hitting shots off of a slanted lie (unless of course you are good and hit the fairway every tee shot).
The course played pretty average as far as play speed. We were a foursome. We never ran into anybody ahead of us, and nobody was pushing us from behind.
The staff was a little cold shouldered, but I don't have any real complaints.
I would return if I had the chance.
