Best course in the area
Big turnaround from what it was. Jeffersonville has become my favorite course in the area
Great!!
Such a great experience from start to finish. One drawback was some pin placements. Literally, almost impossible. I watched several groups go through certain holes and go back and forth between putter and wedges from not being able to keep a ball on the green. I'm fine with challenging golf, but this just seems unjust. Scorecard wrecker, for many! And, come to think of it, the starter made a comment that one of the guys that struggled in front of us was a pro! He 4-putted! So that was somewhat comforting.
Still, love this place and what they have done. Best bang for the buck in the region, by far. Major kudos to all.
Renovations added to the previous value
Course was already a gem with how good the upkeep was. First time playing since the renovations. Love what they did with a couple of holes (adding bunkers, moving teeboxes, etc.). Ate in the restaurant after which had great food and great staff. Best public course in the area no doubt in my mind.
Poor management
I was charged $30 to play nine holes but an additional $25 for my rider. We are two seniors and just wanted a quick round and a view of the surrounding beauty.
The $25 for my rider was a joke. Something about insurance. I wonder what the insurance company thought about the five golfers that were placed in the group ahead of us. Pro Shop starter seemed annoyed that we were even checking in on such a slow day. But to knowingly put us behind a five was unacceptable and will keep us from coming back.
When we reach the fivesome, they had a great idea. They said after they tee off we can pass them on the next hole. For anyone that golfs, they know that makes no sense. Unfortunately, with no Marshalls on the course, we had to skip a hole to continue a pace of play with no other golfers anywhere on the course.
Great course but pin placemenr issue on 15th hole
For the money, not sure you will find a better value in the area. Course is fun to play with challenging greens. Aeration was not fully healed but for the most part was not a huge issue.
The 15th hole pin placement was an issue. I had a putt from 27 feet above the hole and tapped it as lightly as I could but with still enough force to get it rolling. That putt ended up rolling off the green and ended up 71 feet from where I started. (Metrics courtesy of Shot Scope) That is just ridiculous. I know "keep the ball below the hole", but pin placement was penal.
Great Public Course
One of the best public courses in the area. The staff could be more attentive to the pace of play and a good bit more friendly.
Beautiful course
Instantly top 5 course in entire area. Great layout. Diverse and unique holes
Can't review
because the course was closed and no one would answer the phone. I left message for the pro shop and the head pro. Never received a call back so I wasted my time by driving 45 minutes to find out no one was there.
The Staff lies.
I was charged for 18 with a cart, and when I got there they were not letting any carts out. The course was very dry in most spots. They could have easily let us out on cart path only or 90 degrees. They were charging everyone for carts and not letting them out. Felt like we were scammed.
Great Don Ross design for a muni. Conditions were good and the greens rolled true. They could be cut a little shorter, but it’s a public course anyways. Pace of play is a bit slow. Took around 4.5hrs.
