friendly, welcoming staff
Had a decent experience playing here. The staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The course is challenging, with well-placed hazards and tricky greens that keep the game interesting.
One big plus is its cost-friendly, making it a great option for those looking for an affordable round of golf. However, I’m giving it a 3/5 rating because some areas of the course could use better maintenance, and the pace of play was a bit slow. Still, for the price, it’s a solid choice for budget-conscious golfers.
Fun Course
This is a nice little track. Pace of play can be tough.
Always great playing here, I play here atleast once a week and the quality of the course for the price is always great. It is pretty busy which makes sense for the deal. Just book a few days in advance. The course is kept great even in the winter
A Charlotte gem
Charlotte has some great public courses, but Sifford is a unique gem close to Uptown. The layout is friendly and manageable for newer golfers, and the practice area is fantastic. The carts and paths are in good shape, although it’s a really nice course to walk. Many of the tee boxes have plaques honoring Charlie Sifford with short and interesting history tidbits. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and golfers are generally patient and respectful toward each other. It’s a fantastic value and an overall great way to spend a few hours.
Nice little course that has been making major improvements over the last 3-4 months
I would rate this course higher based on the improvements being made, but it’s still a work in progress. Overall it’s a great course. I do wish the rangers would help monitor the pace of play a little better. Ranger Bob did an excellent job on Friday helping my two-some pass two very slow four-some, so shout out to ranger Bob. The greens have improved dramatically, the bunkers are being repaired. Overall I can’t wait to see where this course is in a year.
Good time at Revolution
Nice public course! Enjoyed a round with my oldest son. Good value for 9 holes plus a cart!
Fun to play
I played here about a month ago and enjoyed the layout. Very busy course but well run by thr staff. I enjoyed playing this course as it is challenging , but fun.
Good all around little course
Get some swings in, course is nicely taken care of, nice layout, solid greens. Overall just a solid 9 hole course for a reasonable price. They do have a few snacks and beverages available, but you play this course for the value and convenient to uptown location; there's no restaurant or grill or anything like that, but they do have a driving range to warm up, and some nice practice areas for chipping and putting. So as far as actually playing golf, it's just a good all around option.
Awesome 9 hole course
The greens and condition of this golf course was one of the best I have played in the Charlotte area. Everything was in tip top condition from tees ,fairways and the greens rolled excellant.
